@Radiance-Yeah, it would have been nice to still have that one but you're right-As far as tiers go, he is beyond well-off in FS. lol
@PuertoRicanStyl-It's funny, but I actually like R's animations better on various moves! lol I agree with you on the system changes though, while it has made the game more accessible, this does come with a price. However, I doubt that we'll be seeing VF return to being more difficult than it is now, given that we're living in the age of fighters that is pushing toward more casual-friendliness/accessibility. And reasonably so, seeing as how this is a business and they want to expand their consumer base. Still, it does suck to have your game diluted by all of that...
@DestructionBomb-Yep! And Radiance is correct, you can activate this feature for your VF5FS replays, just like these ones from R.
It has it in FS as well, you have to turn it on.
Is that advantage data on both side players? Dude I would love that.
I like FS' s animations better cause they're so much smoother (probably because it's newer, lol). But I like the older fighting system better. Akira is so much easier to get damage/combo with in FS, along with everyone else. The stepping is worse/more limited in FS. And taking out the multi throw escapes and giving the ability to block and throw escape at the same time is just... Even with all the dumbing down of the game in FS, still the best fighter in my opinion when you break it all down. Hopefully if they make VF6, they get rid of the SF4ness they added in the game.
Eh Akira had a string that was +4 they took out in FS? Oh well he's still god tier. combo's still look funny without bounds from VF5 to VF5R. They should have kept the stage changes in the downloadable arcade version for 360 and ps3. Can't wait for VF6

VF5R is the update to vanilla VF5 that was released before VF5FS. Unfortunately this awesome update never made it beyond the shores of Japan(Arcade Only). Sorry about the bad quality.
