Since DOA6 decided to add meter and random meter based mechanics just because other games were doing it, TN should copy GBVS's idea and implement a cooldown system to all the holds so people can't throw them out whenever.
I've been playing 2D fighters so much that I miss having a 3D fighter to play. SC just doesn't feel as good as DOA and Tekken, but DOA6 sucks and T7's movement is still too weird. Idk why but give me anything in a 2D game no matter how hard and I'm willing spend hours to learn it. But Tekken's movement? It just doesn't feel right. I want to play a good DOA again...
@Danharhar said it best. "I seriously enjoyed playing DoA 5 due to it's mechanics and gameplay but at the rate the franchise is going just purely on dlc and marketing, it's not gonna grow at all." Back when anyone can tell DOA5 was a legitimate fighting game if they just took 1 second to look. Now people don't even consider looking at DOA6.
I dream of a day when the DOA team is competent and makes a legitimate good game with no more DLC costumes and the community grows like the UNIEST community. No BS. Just a good game and a good community inviting others in.
At this point I shouldn't have any left, but I still have some hope in you TN. Fix all the current issues and make DOA6 interesting and fun somehow. Next year even more people will care less about DOA6.
Well, that was enough whining about a game that isn't trying anymore. If they didn't make any big or meaningful announcement at their main event of the year then that's that. Time to forget this game until the next disappointing announcement. Adding slowmo instead of fixing the input lag... Who tf even asked for that.
Can TN PLEASE make DOA6 feel like a new game for once instead of just rehashing DOA5 content? First they resell costumes from 5 and now there's more characters from 5 that look exactly the same in 6. I can't fathom how is it even possible to do so much worse than literally every other fighting game. What is the point of DOA6 if it can't do anything right? I'm sure more people left DOA than came in.
Well, I hope you guys will continue on supporting DOA. DOA5 somehow managed to make me love the series but that now seems like some kind of fluke, which is disappointing. It doesn't look like much effort is being put into DOA6 so I'll wait for the sequel and hope they put in as much effort into it as they did for DOA5.
What did they do to Tekken 7? It feels completely different since I last played. It's lighter and feels more responsive? If this is what normal Tekken feels like then I take back what I said about it before.
My fighting commander finally dies a while ago so I stop playing games. Then I buy another commander and a stick but don't even use them. Its been 4 months since I played a fighting game and I see those hype AF EVO reveals. DOA6 is falling too far behind. Do something interesting and good TN. My interest in DOA is already at a dangerously low level.
Diego's fists definitely reached her but it doesn't hit in the first combo. Then in the second attempt, Diego's punches are about an inch away from her body and they all connect. I hate these combo inconsistencies.
