  • What do you think if a DOA6 Ultimate version is ever release, there's an option to toggle off the meter? Would you think the game could be more enjoyable that way?

    The way DOA 6 was established, it'd be difficult to imagine a DOA 6:U w/o meter as there are fatal stuns and stuff that can kill you if you have no meter. And regardless, it's not just the meter stuff. The stages are a huge problem as well. If anything, I'd say just go with DOA 7 and start with a new foundation with a good free step (Like Tamaki but better), hopefully throw breaks, and good strike punishment (Nyo).

    Tbf, regarding the stages, they could simply up the dmg scaling of hazards and/or give the option to turn them off for competitive play. Like in sf5 where no combo really does more than 50%. Same with fatal stuns. Just remove them and make them normal stuns /moves again. Most were old moves anyways, like leifang's old 64P, or Christie's, which was her uuh.. 9P?

    It would be interesting if they did although I think they should just raise the meter costs of the break hold and make meter just build slower since it wouldn't be a problem if you didn't have half a meter half the time. I also think Break Blows could just be a low health comeback mechanic imo and the old ground game with the new 6 one would be better too, and throw breaks
