    Haven't played the game - looking to get it when it's super cheap.

    However, the comic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, likely because of the low expectations I had for it. I think it's fun to read about an anti-hero every now and then. It's pretty short, so check it out and decide for yourself.

    Just finished NG 2. It has its faults but overall I think it's a lot of fun. Heard the new NGs suck, might try them in the future.

    Not gonna lie, the story is just garbled nonsense. The only thing I like about it is how it touches Hayabusa's human side and shows off his personality. Everything else about it just feels messy and shoe-horned. I absolutely love the Regent to bits though :V

    I liked the Regent too... except for when they showed his identity and told us who he was. Like really, he couldn't have just been a cool enemy? Shame that they had to relate him to... you know. -That- part of the story.

    Ninja Gaiden 2 is $5.09 on XBL for just today! Picked it up just to learn more about the Gaiden universe.

    Cool, thank you that backstory clears stuff up without spoilers.

    I guess the rebooted NG is the one on the original Xbox, right? Do you also know the first DoA to adapt to this new universe?

    DOA didn't adapt to the NG reboot till DOA diminsions, till then it was using the old Ryu who married Irene and worked at a curio shop

    The rebooted NG games canonically take place before the first Dead or Alive.

    @Bandito: Unless you have a solid background in Tekken, I don't think people can really expect to do well online in a fighter, especially in a few weeks lol. Maybe you're right and it's not for you, idk, just something to keep in mind.

    Tekken has parries, generally performed by Back + 1+2. They're character specific and not universal. I.e. Not everyone has parries. Characters like Asuka have very good parries.

    Yw! Yeah, everyone here is really nice. At least, everyone I've come across. lol. Anyway, if you need any help, just let me know. I will try as best as I can. :) I main Helena, Hitomi, and some Hayate. I have some decent character knowledge, I think.
