    They've already shown a game play demo of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Cyberpunk 2077. Still no Gears of War 5. It's the only game I've been paying attention to. The Coalition is trying to hide the game and I've been visualizing what it would be like *sigh*

    When will it be released? A demo will be released when ready. The Coalition will do a good job on GOW5. GOW4 was solid.

    Apparently, in 2019. Not sure when, but I would expect before June. Gears of War 4 was alright; it had some flaws like the clunky movement, especially the wall bounce, and the Gnasher shotgun being broken, but it was more redeeming than Judgement. Judgement was like a watered down version of Gears of War 3 with the small content and some of its core mechanics were removed. The multiplayer maps look amazing though.

    I haven't paid attention to DOA stuff or anything fighting game related recently. I've been playing a lot of Crysis because it's in crisis, knowing they're going to shut down the servers this October due to the very low number of players. So I was doing the best I can to support my favorite first-person shooter that's currently dying.

    I just finished playing through RAAM's Shadow from a friend's file. It seems to take place before Gears of War 1 since Kim is still alive.

    Yeah, I kinda liked the story in Judgement. Marcus doesn't have to be the main character all the time. It was nice change, but gameplay-wise, it left a lot to be desired.

    I still haven't played Judgement even though I own it, but I have heard that the campaign for it was pretty good.

    The thing about me and Gears campaigns is that there's not a single one that I like more than 80% of.

    The campaign plays like Horde mode but with a narrative. And apparently, it's the only game in the series where they don't use the almighty Hammer of Dawn because that weapon seems to get used in a specific part in the campaign in every Gears game.

    Characters like him are inflexible they because never stretch. Anyone who practices real martial arts would learn how to stretch. I can use my forehead to touch my knees while keeping my legs straight.

    I've gotten too irritated by the fact if I wanna get those pretty weapon skins in Gears 3, I have to face cash grab or play other titles.

    Some of them require you to play the game on its first 6 days after launch to unlock them. As someone who started late, there's absolutely no chance for me.

    If Gears of War 1 and 2 becomes free with Gold one day, that's my only chance. I don't wanna spend money on an entire game just unlock a pretty skin. Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition has them for free, but of course, I have to buy Gears 4 itself.

    If you want to go around your elbow to get to your ass, there's actually a fairly easy way to mod your Gears 3 save file to unlock all the non-DLC skins.

    Besides, the only good weapon skins in G3 were the team metal or team liquid metal skins lol

    It's been 8 years for that game. Sega's division is all split and they got a new director who doesn't even have a team for the series anymore. They could obviously hire new ones. Yu Suzuki mentioned that if VF series return, he'd only co-direct it after Shenmue is done.

    It's really up to Sega at this point. Literally Sega is the issue. Maybe after Shenmue? probably. They could put it as a secret for EVO this year? (probably) but doubt it.

    I see. No wonder why I couldn't find any Vanquish multiplayer videos on YouTube, only speedruns. The mechanics are kinda interesting though- it allows you cancel melee and other stuff.

    It's quite a good game tbh. If you can, I'd suggest getting it on PC since it has an unlocked framerate and overall just looks better.

    I wanted to like Gears of War 4, but the stages look so bland and the wall bounce feels bad. I hope in Gears 5 will be like Gears of War 3.

    Outside of being limited to PC players and those who keep crossplay turned on, PC is probably the best platform to play it on. Graphics settings, adjustable FOV, the works.

    Playing Gears of War with the blood turned off feels a lot better. The blood can be disorienting sometimes when it splashes on my screen.

    Pretty much the main reason anyone plays with it off. You can also tell if shots land much easier.

    True. It's hard to see what's happening on the screen because it just blocks my view for a while. I hope they tone it down a bit in Gears 5 or just give us an option to tone it down to a certain extent because I also want blood just for realism, but too much blood can be disorienting.
