Maybe the denim jacket’s a customization option? I gotta say it weird to not see the Canadian tuxedo on Hitomi, it’s just such an appropriately dorky German thing to have.

I'm kind of annoyed that the color swaps take up actual slots instead of just being a customization option. Also, are they seriously going to give her that ugly ass white tank top outfit from DoA5 and not bring back her classic default denim outfit? Please TN, don't make me wait 2 years like I had to for 5U to get back her denim outfit.

I normally don't care about that stuff.....but I'm actually kind of pissed lol. I've always rocked the denim outfit.
We’ll just have to be fine with the jeans and Phoenix tank top till then, my dude. Sigh...

If random is an option I'll probably just do that. If not, mostly the gi then as that was my second favorite outfit and the black gi looks cool. The tank top with the phoenix is alright.

Oh I meant 214KPP my bad but I did hear 214Pno longer SDS too at the same one though DOA6 completely removed SDS and made them Fatal Stuns, and since FS need meter to escape probably did want a lot of them.

Ya I get that, still sucks to hear. 214p is kind of a crap string already. Becomes useless without its SDS.

Hitomi is not allow to have good shit.....

Anyways, I predicted that TN was going to nerf 214P which is dumb. Whats wrong with it being an SDS attack? Can't she have anything? Sign......TN and their weird stupid decisions...

I hope one of her moves allow her to put people in a Fatal Stun.

I called it awhile back that the string variants of 8k would probably lose their SDS properties since it seemed all the other moves that turned into FSDS were singular hits not in strings (though of course Rig somehow keeps his lol), but I figured 8k itself would remain the same as well as 214p. I was NOT expecting 8h+k to become a SDS which is absolutely stupid. That is probably the worst move to put that mechanic on.

So a bit of notes/recap etc....from recent footage/streams whatnot that I can remember off the top of my head.

As talked about earlier, her FSDS is now 8h+k, however during sonics stream bladez did 8k from BT and it caused a FSDS. Not sure if this is only feasible from critical/counter hit and if the same applies to a normal 8k, but its interesting nonetheless. 214p definitely doesn't SDS anymore either, it just does a normal stun making the string pretty useless. Sadness.

4kk doesn't relaunch very high anymore, so her standard juggle is probably back to 7pk pp6pk. I imagine the 4kk relaunch nerf was to prevent crazy setups with 214kp bound string. If it still had the same relaunch properties she could probably get damn near a full juggle and end with that bound. It would have been pretty broken.

3k against the wall imo got nerfed. Some people may prefer this, but personally I think it's a big loss. 3k now does the doa4 wall bounce which removes the easy wall juggle damage she got from doa5 doing 3kp4ppp. This really sucks imo, but I suppose the potential for other setups can be worth the risk, but it's just another unnecessary guess when I'd rather get the guaranteed damage.

Standing K doesn't seem to wallsplat anymore so the new kp string may be her optimal wall string now? The string out in the open is kind of useless as the final punch is a huge knockback. Seems like it will be a decent way to get a wallsplat though or potential good damage for a juggle off the wall. Wont really know till I can get into training mode and see if that does more damage over the other options (4kppp, p+kppp etc....)
