LET'S make Rabies the official DOA6 commentator.

I was watching today's NLBC and and was immediately immersed into the gameplay. Usually gaming tournaments bore me to tears, but the commentary from Rabies alone made it extremely enjoyable to watch. Not only does he have a great casting voice, but he is very knowledgeable in the mechanics and knows the instant a KO is coming, which is very important when casting to the casuals.

If you watch this clip I posted, you can see in a twitch stream of 2500, he was able to hype up the chat here on the massive incoming grab. Watch the chat after the grab, if it wasn't for rabies alerting the audience of the incoming move, they wouldn't have reacted as hyped as they did.

I would consider him the Joe Rogan of the FGC. He immerses people into DOA. DOA has had a pretty long history of receiving hate from the other FGC communities but in this sp00ky stream, I didn't see any at all. People were really into it.
A player/commentator with a great casting voice is EXTREMELY RARE OK? Even the world of MMA/UFC has a hard time finding commentators that can even come close to Joe Rogan.

If you want to see DOA succeed competitively, send a tweet right now https://twitter.com/RabiesCasting and add @TeamNinjaStudio @KoeiTecmoUS #DOAWC

Agreed 100%
Rabies is hype and knows the game inside out. Joe Rogan is a fair comparison in terms of energy and technical knowledge.

Rabies killed it tonight. Definitely the best DOA commentator out there, get him the recognition he deserves! MASTER is shaking in his boots, Joe Rogan could never!

For me the combo Master + Shade Swifteye is the best. They got the humor, technical knowledge and they bring the hype when appropriate. Matt Ponton, Jäger, Sly Bass, EmeryReigns, Rabies, are fantastic as well. (pretty sure I'm forgetting someone here)

As much hype as Joe Rogan brings, sometimes I just wish he would ask Dominick Cruz more often about his opinion.

There’s no need for an official commentator and there are great casters in every part of the country. Also I’m fairly certain there are quite a lot of community members that would disagree vehemently because this sort of thing is highly subjective. I’d rather see Matt and Shade if all of them were at the same place personally. There are quite a few others that would be ahead in the line, too. I will grant that Rabies has improved, though.

I just don't think there is a reason to have an official commentator for any game. That creates boundaries for others that want to contribute doesn't it? But I do like Rabies a lot, and I'm sure he will commentate plenty more events.

Rabies is a fantastic commentator, it would be great to have him within that band of commentators that typically get invited/asked to cast tournaments.

I saw TecmoKoei liked my tweet that I said about Rabies, hopefully they will make him a commentator. People are always asking in Sp00ky's stream "who is the commentator?" and I even saw one guy go out of his way to follow Rabies. I'll go ahead and say at this point, DOA desperatley needs a commentator like Rabies to draw in more fans and casuals.

Rabies is a great person but now apparently people believe he;s a great Doa commentator too. I remember when they let me commentate one of the final eight matches in evo2k6 it was Carl (Perfect Legend) vs the man they call the Doa master. I think I did a horrible job and I get people telling me sometimes they heard me on the evo2k6 dvd.
But I’m happy for rabbles great commentating ability.
