His backstory imo lacks impact, he could have had a WAY darker storyline had his mother not recovered, but I think they allowed that since they didn't want to go that dark for his story, but why bring up his fighting for his mother if it wasn't gonna be a prevalent thing? It makes his story one sided. It's kinda like Lili who lost character relevance when she no longer had to fight for her father who collapsed from stress in T6, now she's been subjected to chasing bitch ass Asuka like how Diego is now forced into a weird bara type rivalry with Jann Lee xD
I agree with @Lycanthrope -R- he's okay, but before 100 matches you realize you did the same move over and over again to get the best result. There are of course different situations with different characters, but you should get what I mean.
He starts off as a fun character to me, but becomes progressively unrewarding as time goes on. I put up with Diego, because I actually kind of like his design, and some of his moves look really cool when you add in environment strings, but he's a plain Jane, and he is a big disappointment for a new DOA male character.

I've never really cared about this games backstory or the characters backstories, or at least not anymore. I used to try and keep up with it, but its always been told so poorly for everyone I kinda stopped caring about the games store/lore.
That's understandable since DOA6 kinda makes stories almost non existent besides for Honoka. Story is always important to me so I usually begin to dislike characters if they don't stick to their guns, like Helena I'm not a fan of because I don't see how she can forgive/even act calm arounf Christie who killed her mother and laughed at her about it, and I dont(won't say because of spoilers) like Nico because of what she did to Helena and tried to do "for her" at the end of the story, that's something I couldn't respect and I'm glad Helena put her in her place about it XD
I think I do treat and take characters' actions tho a bit too personally since I judge characters on how they treat others and how dark/harsh their own backstory is xD

I'm surprised we haven't heard any news yet of a Halloween event or costumes. The Twitter promo images for Season 3 showed some possibly returning Halloween costumes from DOA5 but didn't really indicate any other details of what costumes or when. If it's part of the "revival" line does this mean these costumes will come out in later revival packs? Unless I missed some details out there somewhere, all we really know is the bunny set is coming out soon and some 16 costume set as part of Season 3 that is "Available from: End of October"
Maybe the end of the month season 3 release will be Halloween themed but, if so, I hope it's not too late in the month. I don't know about anyone else but I enjoyed the annual Halloween costumes from DoA5. Some costumes were bad but many were great. I feel like it would be a shame to miss out on having a few weeks of play in Halloween themed costumes in October.
