    dam, Sakurai puts 4 games worth of characters into a single game and then some, and ppl still be like "oh, (insert character) didn't make it? this aint my smash bros.", like seriously? get the fuck over yourself

    Piranha Plant was in Mario's very first officially released game back in 1985 and has been a staple of the series and included in some fashion in every game since then. Edit: Actually incorrect I forgot about the Mario Bros arcade game in 83. So he's got two years on Piranha unless you're counting his inclusion in Donkey Kong, in which case you're correct that's 4 years.

    i think it's hilarious that out of all the super mario characters a piranha plant got chosen over waluigi. it's like a big fuck you right in his face. i'm not mad at all tho.

    For me it was more like: Ken? Well, that was expectable a bit, still, really neat. Incineroar? Nice Digimon, looks cool. Piranha Plant? Wait what?

    thank goodness they made claire's classic costume unlockable in RE2 remake, although for sum random reason they turned her black undershirt into a black tube top which exposes her arms and cleavage, which i don't like :/

    That's why everyone and their mother wrote that it isn't a "classic" costume, since it has missing parts. I do think that Capcom will fix it by the release of the game. Who knows, maybe the costume wasn't even complete but they decided to show both Leon and Claire in their classic clothes to hype up people even more.

    "maybe the costume wasn't even complete..." That made me giggle with regards to Claire's costume. She looks good, but yeah, what is her knife holster even connected too? Haha

    So when you ukemi in SC, you're not invincible and you can't block as you're getting up, so is there ever a time you should ukemi after a knockdown? Especially versus more aggressive opponents?

    If you don't ukemi regularly, you can potentially be leaving your self open to a lot of free damage from opponents, especially with the generous amount of moves that hit grounded.

    So side roll to avoid grounded verticles and back roll for space, got it. I swear half the dmg I take in this game is just me failing to get off the floor properly, either I'm getting tech trapped or im getting harassed with a billion lows b4 I can get up again

    Also, did you know that you could block off the ground in SC? (That is as long as you weren't hit by a hard-knockdown blow that guarantees a follow-up strike or requires a ukemi to escape of course).

    playstation classic lineup looking kinda meh, no Tomb Raider, no Crash, no Spyro, I mean they all got HD remakes but still. That Tekken 3 looking nice though, and hurray for Abe's Odyssey

    Just checked out the list. Pretty solid for 20 PSone games. Tekken 3 was a nice surprise. Surprised they went with Twisted Metal over Twisted Metal 2.

    Even though its coll that we finally got a glimpse of Christie, I'm most interested in the new girl since we barely have too much information about her, plus we can more or less guess every character that'll be revealed from now on. I guess that a lot of people are just hyped about her (like how the reveal of Marvel vs Capcom:Infinite made people hyped, only to absolutely fail later on).

    It would mostly piss off the Japanese fanbase, which is a pretty large chunk of DOA's fanbase. They care about the "waifus" more than the Western fans. Hence why Marie Rose & Honoka mostly get promoted at Japanese events.

    maybe i haven't realized before, but if you took of the waifus of DOA you kill a huge part of the DOA fanbase and probably kill the franchise too. DOA girls are more relevant to the franchise as selling point than tournaments. That's how relevant they are (and that's why SF5 is having lots of waifus and skimpy outfits, too.)

    Iirc most characters when it comes to DW, SW and DOA were chosen to be a part of Warriors All-Stars by their popularity. Both Marie Rose and Honoka made it in along with none other than Kasumi(I mean, Ayane made it in too, but for some reason she is said to be a Ninja Gaiden character, even though she was first playable in Sigma 2). So yeah, girls in DOA are probably the most important.

    Seems like the best thing 2 do right when you reversal edge'd atm is to go for a vertical or a crouch, since most ppl are just mashing A, I imagine that'll change with time

    Thank goodness U can reset training mode positions without the use of a touchpad in SC6, hate that crap in fighting games

    As sum1 who uses 3rd party controllers with no touchpad functionality this is a godsend, love it in doa5 and I love it in sc6!
