    Doesn't that move feel odd for punishing too? I had moments where she recovers super quick from that particular string.

    Yeah, it's got some weird recovery. It's technically -13, but I can't punish it with Ryu's 33T (i12) as much as I've tried. I thought maybe on the last frame she returns to standing status, but I can't punish it with 41236T, either. It can, however, be punished with Nyo's 1T.

    Nico has a lot of moves are are deceptively effective. Quite the nuisance to deal with, especially online.

    I see that DMC's idea of higher difficulty is just attempting to drown you in bullet sponges and hoping your fingers get tired eventually.
    DOA6 felt that rock bottom wasn't low enough, so it kept on digging. TN pioneered online FG lobbies. Now they have seemingly forgot how they work. Irony kills.
    I get why, but I'm also disappointed they recast Patty Lowell. Satsuki is an inspiration.

    Don't think so. My comment was just in reference to DMC5 recasting the role of Patty, who was originally voiced by Hilary Haag (the voice actress for Satsuki) in the DMC anime.

    PS4 takes so long to save a match it prevents you from accepting a rematch. LOLZ

    Can't you save later, from the Theatre menu? On PC, I wade back through the 200 autosaves and grab the ranked matches before turning in for the night. Not the same on PS4? I mean, if you're playing a lot in one session, I get that finding the one you want could be a pain...

    You'd think they'd have checked saving time vs the timer on the dominant hardware, lol.

    It was a noticeable issue immediately from the Deluxe Demo. I know that TN has been swamped with trying to not make DOA6 look like a glorified beta release, but am disappointed that no one at their offices possibly noticed that the time limit to rematch doesn't actually jive with the amount of menus to scroll through.
    How does Lisa's new air throw work, exactly? The standard carrera T seems too slow to connect. Can't get her combo challenge 16.

    Seems to depend on the character. All the ninjas are much easier to clear than their DOA5 combo challenge counterparts. But other characters are pretty rough (hey, Eliot).

    You basically have to run until you're making contact with them and hit T. As long as they dont touch the ground it seems to work

    I’ve noticed the game forces me into throwdown mode in free training whether I turn that off beforehand or not so it could be that

    @Chapstick lol that happens to me to, ill head to training mode to try some new combo or setup and then halfway through i;ll get A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS! but apparently you can turn it off in the side selection screen by pressing triangle ( or Y on xbox controllers), for some reason turning it off in training mode doesn't turn it off lol, but doing it b4 has been way more consistent for me
    Can someone please explain to me why Kasumi's 6K tracks but Marie's doesn't?

    It's cases like these that remind me how little TN actually bothers to examine their characters' movelists.
    When I first got the game (PC), it ran fine and fast. Now it sometimes won't launch, and when it does, it freezes. Anyone else noticing anything similar?

    Is it random? I had always assumed it was based on character levels? I unlocked kasumi's hitohira at level 12...but then again I got Leifang's Grand Style pretty early. Hmmm. Nvm aha.

    General music seems to be player level based. Character themes are character level based too.

    I was going with 236P for that close hit damage and mashing PPPP lol. I would try to get them by a wall so I could do 236P to knock them into a wall and do it again once they bounce off the wall. The second time you fight NICO is the most annoying.

    so i havent finished it yet, but ive had some good luck with pushing them away with PPPP and then spamming his fireball with varying charges. It sucks tho once you get forced to a more closed space. Also the fireball hits hard when they try to attack from afar. Gotten several greatests in a row against kasumi and ayane with this.

    DOA Quest is basically hours of standing around waiting for the AI to put you in a fatal stun while they just stand there wasting your time.

    For Me DOA Quest is just completing some easy missions (at least from someone who played bit of DOA5 for training purpose), just spending hours completing stuff, beating missions with little issue (besides Mission 30 offensive holds which I used a walkthrough), and trying to unlock every female costume.

    Main honoka all day, has way more dynamic and rewarding neutral, nico just pokes you to death with super good up close strings

    the fact that it's fully non-tracking strike invincible, even if you delay your strike to hit the attack, is bonkers, on the flipside it does mean that you have to commit to a tracking move or a throw to hit it, so that's good at least
