  • Kula and Mai are super fun characters, contrary to what some people are trying to say. No idea how they will affect the overall balance of the game though.
    It'd be nice to have some updates on new intros and outros. When and will each character get animations? Will there be any more special interactions? Will more, new animations be added to characters or are they only recycling animations? Will NiCO and Diego be getting new intros/outros since they don't have old animations? Will the DLC characters come with only 1 intro/outro? KT leaving us in the dark here, as usual.
    I Love playing online and not getting throw punishes when I block SSAs :)

    Edit: Nvm turns out Rig's SSA knocks you so far back you can't throw punish zzzzzzzzzzz

    Yeah, I learned that the hard way today. Kind of stupid if you ask me, but eh. At least it's still strike-punishable, though that's a significantly worse option.

    You should be able to strike punish Rig's SSA though.

    SSA's are busted. Universally -15, but more than half the cast cant be punished with a 12i throw. They need to remove the pushback on block with them.
    What are the odds they let us start buying indvidual costumes on Steam? I'm personally putting it at a solid 30 percent.

    It was already stated that steam prevents them from doing so just like the preorder denial, idk why, probably because the list would be too long then lol
    Helena hard counters Kokoro, I realized that she can duck EACH OF KOKORO'S TRACKING MOVES. You can't throw out true mids or lows because they lose to sidestep and have shitty range, and you can't throw tracking moves because she can duck them.
    Can someone please explain to me how Bayman's roll works? I don't play him but from what I can tell from playing against him it crushes mids and highs, dodges non-tracking moves, outranges most lows, and gives him a a free throw. How do you counterplay it?

    oh yeah i forgot that one, if you're in a situation where bayman's likely to sideroll, you can always just block and see if does the roll and punish it on reaction, when you see him roll, IMMEDIATELY low throw, I suggest going for low throw over crouching 1st because going into crouch doesn't instantly put you in a crouching status and you can still get hit with the OH, so just 2t to avoid the OH and punish the roll

    Basically if you crouch, a side tank roll can't do anything to you and a low throw will at least give you counter damage. (hi-counter damage if he goes for the OH). A hint also, a crouching low strike will beat it out too since the OH won't hit a crouching opponent anyway.

    So fucking tired of ranked, everyone at my rank is so fucking good and I either get my ass pounded or barely scrape by with a win. These people make Kokoro look like a trash tier character, but maybe it's just me. Please release lobbies so I can relax and take it easy for a few matches.
    Sidestep Attack is so strong holy moly. I get there is counterplay but almost every game I play the winner is whoever can abuse the sidestep attack on reaction better.

    Well, the point is to get the opponents health bar to deplete before yours, so just don't get hit and hit them a lot ololprohumor

    I mean, block stun normally revolves around the offset from the recovery of the move. From what I checked, recovery from SSA attacks are 21 ~ 29, which is actually not that bad to throw it on the window time. If someone attacked from that situation and your throw whiffed then that had to be pretty bad luck there lol.

    Heck, Diego has a move that's -12 on block but the recovery is 16. Sometimes I question TN regarding it like "Ok is it unsafe or safe TN? which one is it? who in the world is going to throw this consecutively?" I get where Brute is coming from regarding the block stun though, however I don't think the SSA attack in that situation is that bad on the block stun but hey, it is what it is.
    Switching to DS4 controller from keyboard is weird as hell, but probably worth it in the long run. New monitor just came in as well, I'm so fuckin ready for Friday.
