    so if you block Rigs' 6kk4 move, he should never ever get a mix up on you cause by itself the move is -14 and the stance transitions make it even more minus, was it like this in 5 as well?

    6KK is punishable yes. 6KK4 is -7 on block so you can neutral throw it but if you try a slower throw he'll end up counter hitting you if he continues the string.

    Despite that, I don't think grappler 6Ts work on it (if that's not the case, feel free to correct me). It's weird.

    DISINTEGRATE! Yeah, old Tengu was a pretty cool character. Kind of dissapointing in a way too though, he was presented as a fiend, a force of nature that might be unstoppable in DOA2 and then comes Ninja Gaiden 2: Sigma with Momiji's chapter where she has to fight two of them and she doesn't even break a sweat.

    Now that Astral Chain is done and finished maybe Platinum Games can finnaly start working in Bayo 3. Oh wait...theyre still developing that Grandblue Fantasy game, dammit!

    So they're adding a 3rd variation to characters in MK11, I'm glad and not super surprised, figured they were gonna do this sooner or later

    That'll increase the fun that players could have in ranked. Honestly, they should've had tournament and kustom variations/ranked from the get-go. Kustom is where the game truly shines in terms of the fun a player could have with MK11.

    I think they should extend the sabaki frames of Break Blows, having them run out 7 frames before the active frame reduces it usefulness as a reversal tool

    i know sabaki attack tend to only run for 12 frame, but if im using all my meter to save my ass the make the reversal frames worth it, 19 frame sabaki for exchange for full meter seems like a better tradeoff

    It's a move that gives you guaranteed damage and plus on block. It's fine where it's at. The goal is to reduce the amount of yolo from situations like that for a cleaner game, despite using an entire bar of meter to where you can't do it again until it's another full bar, it becomes no different than trying to armor through an opponent's attack or else it becomes a situation where people would rely on it.

    Kasumi, Elliot, Phase 4, and Mai, these are Nyotengu's worst match ups, everything else is even, slight advantage or slight disadvantage

    Helena, lisa, christie, kula, nico, and honoka are at a slight advantage, and I still need to figure the rest of the cast from there but everyone else Nyotengu is even with or she has a slight advantage over (spoiler alert, there aren't too many in that last category lol)

    Joker's too pretty in MK11 and I can't stand it, dude's supposed to be a disfigured psychopath but they got my man looking like a CW actor with face paint, drives me nuts!

    looking at my stats and it's quite hilarious, my Honoka has twice as many games played as Nyo(my actual main), yet they both have similar FP and win rate lol

    Even though Honoka is the pinnacle of fanservice, she is lots of fun to play. I consider myself a Rig main but I have more playtime on Mai, Nyotengu and NiCO.

    2 patches of Nico nerfs and she's still OD, still an i9/i11, still stupidly safe despite her speed (although her knockback has taken a hit), still got those conversions, so y is everyone dropping her? am I missing something here?

    I wouldn't call getting nerfed every patch since launch "2 patches" lol I think many are just fed up of her constantly getting nerfs major minor nerfs are nerfs. She's not terrible(she's probably still high tier imo) but hat they still focus on NiCO when Diego and Eliot barely if ever gets touched is a bit much.

    A 1v1 chain button airdasher with characters i actually care for made by capcom? Id buy that in a heartbeat! Actually I'm pretty much describing a darkstalkers sequel at this point lol

    Looking at the evo2k19 Samsho results and i notice there wasn't a single Wu-Ruixiag in top 128, that's disheartening :(

    To be fair, if i was trying to win the biggest tournament of the year I wouldnt use her either, even though I main her lol. She's an interesting character, id almost say shes the anti meta of samsho, but unfortunately that's not enough to make her strong

    In exchange for good buttons she haa specials that are great for space control. While that sounds cool, all it takes is for ppl to get in your face once and voila, she has nothing to fight with, and in a game like samsho where eating one grab or one super can effectively end a match, that's too much of a risk, but if she can get her gameplan started, that s when she shines, IF she can get it started

    Also, roster is/was unbalanced as hell. EVO 2019 Top 8 for SamSho had 4 Genjuro's in it. He dominates most, if not all match-ups and there are other characters who can hold their own very well against Ruixiang. "Character balance is boring" Yeah, it can be but not when most players play Genjuro, or Tam Tam or Charlotte....mainly Genjuro, lack of character variety will make the game boring competitively.

    I feel that way with DanganRonpa and Zero Escape. I loved those games but there's basically no reason to replay them when you've seen everything.

    Danganropa, return to the Obra Dinn, great games, zero replay value

    at least Danga has those non canon extra modes so you can spend more time with it's cast, but yeah after the initial play through there's very little reason to go through it all again
