Him and the people I fought in VF tournaments, I don't go easy for the simple fact that I don't like it being done to me. However, I myself have a better excuse as I'm trying to absorb knowledge and already learned the essentials. I got my ticket into fgs.

Maybe it's because of age as I've been serious since I was 12 and 2 years later, I took that to the next level. Everyone has their pace but if you're a grown ass person who is just now trying to get into these games and don't understand simple concepts quickly, don't worry venturing into fgs seriously.

You'll get people who will shrug it off and try to feel better by laughing that there are players who take these games seriously. I have x and x things and you don't. Grown casuals will probably have more inconsiderate comments and manners vs a kid. They feel they understand life, so, why a video game?
Crossup AND Smashbox are now legal at Evo and Tekken/Melee players are pissed, I feel their pain but the fallout is funny to watch regardless. Gafrobox also recently got legalized so i imagine we'll see the same from SF players soon

What I find funny about it is that in two years Evo will allow SOCD-less hitboxes lmao. I don't understand why.
Welp, all the MK11 characters got a 3rd variation and Kitana still sux, looks like I'll be using Cetrion till I'm old and grey, or at least till MK12
Question for anyone playing Code Vein, are you playing through the campaign solo or co-op with the NPC characters?

all that said, im still playing the game solo (although i did hire a partner for the 2nd invasion in the Anor Londo area, that shit was getting on my last nerve) at least for the first play through. co-op gets u alot of buffs but it also makes the game a tad too easy, probably cause unlike souls im pretty sure they don't scale enemy health to amount of players in a world so it's too easy to just gank everything

Even the NPCs feel like it's own coop except early in the game where they mow down enemies eating the fun away. I remember real early in the game where Yakumo will practically 1-shot or two hit most general enemies until half way in the game where he turns...."normal" in damage.

I'm doing most of it with NPC characters. Tho I've only played with Louis and Mia. What I will say is that is feels pretty cheesy when you and Mia are both shooting a helpless enemy with a bayonet.
Never cared for the Terminator franchise but Arnold looks awesome in motion. And his gameplay looks super fun as well, like a combination of Jason and Sheeva, looking forward to his release!

Only things that bug me are his voice and those cartoonishly purple grenades but everything else is great
So, thoughts on those 3rd variations in MK11? Personally I'm hype cuz it might actually give me reason to play my favorite MK character, Kitana (unless her 3rd variation is also hot garbage)

It's cool, more options are nice. Also, Kitana is fine

Kitana is bad, bottom 5 character easy, if you wanna play a zoner with strong combos and mobility you just play Cetrion (who i actually main), maybe Shang Tsung to mix it up, but Kitana as she is now is so bad she's not even worth picking up, fingers crossed variation 3 makes her better and more fun to play
if you're watching Demon Slayer i would avoid youtube for now, thumbnails with final episode spoilers are running rampant on that website

I'm gonna assume this is sadly not connected to the MK universe, even if it adds logic to how Babalities are performed...
was originally gonna buy momiji so I could lab her for MU purposes, but since everyone online is playing her I may not even have to lol

Newer fighting games these days been getting implementations where you can use DLC characters for free within training mode, but you can't actually use that character against other players. It's been a thing for awhile but starting to get more popular.

I'll buy her eventually; even though I have no plans to main her i am making a point to play every character vs ppl for knowledge purposes. Until then though I'll just informally learn the match through online and training with the homie xTakeshi, one of the strongest DOA5 momiji mains out there

The what? Has the world shifted to a paradox? there is no Momiji main. April Fools is a long time from now.
Code Vein has the edgiest character creator engine i've ever seen :/

I don't think so. There's plenty of cool Japanese culture like Samurai and ninjas, their food, Shinto and mythology, their nobility and strong will. Anime can still be cool but I'll admit I haven't jumped outright to see another anime. Perhaps we want to live one and not watch one.

@Pictured Mind @XxNoriakixX @Hold_Junkie93 On the fair side, I rather tolerate this than the constant trope of "Onii-chan notice me while my boobs didn't just jiggle out of context or anything in camera pan, my made-up personality is important senpai!". Least edgelords tend to be either more silent or tolerable, rather than typical.

Then again, it becomes sheer blank of boredom when it comes to superiority complex edgy characters while trying to assert their dominance by not looking to the camera. Heck some games with those type of characters have actual personality but are too busy brooding all the time. Comes with a package of variety, but it is more tolerable and not exactly typical when it comes to catering a certain demographic.
I guess post set hand shakes/fist bumps are mandatory in this new e-spot era :/ SPORTSMANSHIP

Being a competitor doesn't mean you should lose any semblance of social norms and showing common respect. Just look at pro sports athletes. They tend to meet up on the field and shake hands and talk. swap jerseys etc...Common courtesy generally shows respect for one another. Its not something you have to do, but people should try at least a little to be an adult and show respect among each other.

^ Also, if gamers want to be taken more seriously as eSports athletes, they'll have to adopt a similar manner as physical athletes.

I see your points, guess i've just spent alot of time in video game communities where respect for your opponents was always optional, mk9, marvel 2/3/infinite, SF4, and most shockingly Nitroplus Blaterz, and i don't even want to put the blasterz commuity on blast cause alot of them are cool, but I was a Saya player, and no one respects a Saya player, not even Saya players themselves
