    Naw, I just played 3 tag fighters back to back and had to deal with players just holding up forward and mashing autocombo with reckless abandon, very demoralizing stuff

    Actually played some TTT2 recently and while it's not autocombos into death, it's more a game where u get 2 touched and die, which is still preferable to the auto combo malarkey

    Man, you can't have a game with characters called "Lord Frieza" and "Beerus, God of Destruction" and have them be low tier, that's like, against the law :/

    that's true, and it's not like I need characters to be 1 for 1 as powerful as they are in their respective animes, but I think it's just wild we have a Dragon Ball fighting game where Base Vegeta and Ginyu Saga level Goku are the best characters, meanwhile characters like Jiren, SSGSS Vegeta, Zamasu, are just as viable as Videl, wwwwwhhhhhhatttt?!?!?

    alot of it has to be with characters being designed to be unique, which is fine, but usually what dictates strong character in these types of games is usually boiled down to a small group of factors, so it's hard to have a bunch of characters who feel different while also making them all viable, but that's mostly at top level, at mid level play whoever u want lol

    I kinda like that aspect to better explain to casuals how archetypes work and that tools' effective use is what matters most.See in this game, a bear can lose to schoolgirl or beat a robot. You are in their shoes, harbor their strength and play them to their potential. Well, until you realize they actually can't.

    Been playing Nitroplus Blasterz since 2016, and I'm just now learning that the game has alpha counters, le fuc? it's MKX all over again!

    hell, even the game it'self doesn't tell you about this mechanic, but then you delve a little a deeper and realize that the alpha counters...suck. they cost 1 bar of meter and, with the exception of 5 characters, are full combo punishable on block, also with meterless advancing guard already there why would u ever use meter to alpha counter?

    i r the confused, but considering both Wachowskis ended up transitioning into women I guess that could of been the original intention, and there is a running theme of "be your true self" going through the movie, so maybe it's not just them trying to pull a JK Rowling 20 years after the fact

    we need that 1.1.9 patch to but CDC be bullshitin'!

    but yeah, quarantine kinda shows how without locals to meet new people and test your skills, and no offline tournaments to see games being played at the highest level in optimal conditions, fighting game kinda lose that oomph factor, at least for me, im sure the single player monsters and online warriors would disagree lol

    What can you do, we're living in "interesting times". Every dev should be taking this as an opportunity and wake up call to get their netcode right, and if they're not seriously considering and looking into rollback yet then they need to eat some humble pie.

    welp, Smash Ultimate just got an update outta nowhere; new stage and a bunch of QoL changes, mostly notably being Elite Smash requirements and *gasp* improved netcode?

    and by improved I mean online input delay has been reduced by roughly 2 frames, which actually is noticeable when playing but it's still Smash Ultimate online , but they did mention that they're gonna keep working on it so that's good. kinda prefer these QoL updates patches, game's good on content so just buff what's already there

    For the people that have been complaining about girls not being sexy enough (like I had problems with that), shouldn't even be MK11 players. Skarlet should've been their first clue that females are becoming less sexy, and these players shouldn't bought MK11 based on that (like I did).

    Once you learn the cancels and get past the akward buffer windows, Kill la Kill IF is a dam fun arena fighter, pvp is broken af, but that's nothing new for arena fighters

    Capcom filed for a new Darkstalkers trademark, but I wouldn't get your hopes up, this is like the 3rd time they've done this in recent memory and we aint seen a Darkstalkers 4 yet

    I don't mind the instrumentals, it's the vocals that kill me, shit sounds like a lesser Sonic Forces OST, and when they start rapping? oh boy, suddenly the feeling of slicing my ears off gets upgraded to wanting to throw myself into a vat of acid

    @SaihateDYNAMO It's the composer's daughter Casey Williams. Rooster Teeth wasn't exactly made of money when they created RWBY back in 2012 (when the songs were originally recorded, she's obviously fairly older now). But yeah, I wouldn't mind instrumental versions of the themes.
