I felt my soul slowly leaving my body with every hopkick of my opponent that got them out of my pressure in Tag 2. So much so that I almost wanted to switch my Steam name to something like HopK1ckZ yesterday.
Another point for fighting game leaks being true. Can we expect every fighting game leak to be true from now on? Also, I'm kind of glad that I've been sitting out MK11 until now, can get all that content for full price with the Ultimate version instead of spending god knows how much people payed for MK11 + Aftermath + KP2 soon.
Alright, its official, Sakurai's memeing on us now. (Tbh, wasn't Steve one of the highest voted characters when people were able to "vote" for the next characters that they'd like to see in Smash? They might've been memeing with that pick but you don't meme with a top-tier memer, never do that.)
Playing Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution made me realize that Virtua Fighter is indeed the deepest 3D FG out there, maybe the hardest one to get good at as well. The amount of things you can do in this game and the amount of things your opponent can do to counter you is insane, legit feels like playing chess in a fighting game. If 5FS feels this way too then I'll have a lot of fun with these games.
Kuni 2 looking kinda nice. The way they are handling ranked is nice too.......for players above red ranks who are probably not going to rage quit as often as people below those ranks, this is only going to be working well if they are thinking about implementing a penalty system for rage quitting, otherwise ranked will be even worse than how it was in S2-3.
Was thinking about buying Ratchet and Clank and the MK Arcade Trilogy on PS3 but with Sega announcing this about VF I may have to buy 5FS instead of the other two.
*Sees GBFVS community on literal flames on Twitter* Ugh, you know what? People should just play whatever they like. Its only been a damn day and the patch for season 2 came with A LOT of changes, players probably haven't even figured the new things the characters can and can't do fully and yet they're already whining about the things that did get nerfed. Think I'm done shitting on Tekken 7....ffs.
Kind of torn between buying an Xbox One X in the near future or buying a new PC. On one hand, with KI and Halos being on Steam now, the only reason I'd buy a One X would be the Horizon games, the old NG's and the old DOA's (if they are made backwards compatible in the future), on the other hand, emulation is becoming better day by day plus my laptop is 4 years old, I'll need a new PC/laptop sooner or later.
Wow, someone managed to make the unplayable characters in Soul Calibur 3 playable 2 years ago via a code that makes them appear in the "Bonus Characters" part of the character select screen with the exception of Dragon and Doppleganger. Never would've imagined that they'd somehow become this easily selectable on the character select screen years after the game's release.
Jesus this presentation was impressive, pricing was something that I've pretty much expected of them to do, 500 $ for 5 with disk, 400 for 5 Digital, three months away from release. Still no extra info on backwards compatibility, or the UI, hopefully they'll have one last presentation one and a half/one month prior to the release of the console.
HOLY COW new RWBY game confirmed and its made by WayForward and ArcSys. Also wonder if this confirms that no more dlc is going to be made for BBTag, hmmm.
Honestly, I'd like to see KT give another shot to a Dynasty/Samurai Warriors 3D fighting game, or create a fighting game somewhat similar to Bamco's Soul Calibur.
Damn, lots of people giving Ubisoft a hard time about the Sands of Time remake. Yes, the character models look rough and it also doesn't look like something that comes out for next gen (because, like, it doesn't + alpha footage) but it doesn't look as bad as they say it to be, also, who cares, gameplay is what matters and from the look of things it has the gameplay that you'd be expecting from PoP/Sands of Time.
Lots of likes on NG Trilogy news on Twitter. People have their eyes on KT and NG right now (partially because of Nioh), we can definitely expect the announcement of NG4 not too long after the release of the trilogy. Wonder if there'll be some minor changes to some of the games, like, they could replace the purple mist in Sigma 2 with blood at the very least.
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing is the DOA3.1 of the Sega/Sonic racing games, while Transformed is a lot of fun and has more going for it in terms of content, gameplay-wise it is inferior to its predecessor, can't say much about Team Sonic Racing, haven't played it yet kind of looks fun though.
How you know that you are a true KH fan: When a friggin' rhythm game with important story bits (for Kairi mostly it seems) makes you want to play KH games all of a sudden. Most who are really into KH are invested in the lore, story (yes, even if it can be confusing af) and characters of the franchise + we're also curious of what Nomura can come up with in every new KH game that he makes.
The more I dig deeper into Nights of Azure's gameplay the more I realize that I was wrong about the second game having better gameplay. You have so many combo options in the first game, you can do Servan summons (for some of them these are attacks) after heavy slashes, supers, weapon switching also opens up a lot of combo routes, attacks out of roll, depending on the weapon 3-4 heavy attacks
The Steam version of SFV never warned about entering in my first fight the second I booted up the game. Such a hard battle in order to make the game not black screen crash on me on start-up (also, why TF do you need 2 exe's??????????, didn't even play the goddamn game yet and its already pissing me off, especially if I look at the mountain of *possible* fixes to this shit *sigh*).
