I'm surprised indie fighting games still exist when every established fighters besides Tekken and SF consistently struggle to survive. Of all the genres to get into, fighting game has to be the worst possible choice.

Just announce whether or not KOF will have rollback already. That's the only thing that matters.
The "standards" and requirements people had for fighting games are already dropping like a rock. Lets see what other unacceptable things from the past are now acceptable in the glorious year of 2021. Remember, in 2020, the go to phrase was "It's already 2020, every fighting games should have...".
Now that the new gen of fighters is quickly approaching, lets see how many people actually stick to their words. Reusing assets is bad, crossplay/ rollback is a must, season passes are bad, and all the other "issues" from last gen. I already see people backpedaling and making excuses which is not surprising.
It's now cool to bash Arcsys because their unique style got so popular... Somehow, all their models, characters, lighting, cinematic, etc don't look good, are low effort, and are easy to make... Popularity does breed haters lmao.
If those leaks are true then KOF still looks bad. Such a shame.
SNK seriously did that? They had so much time to work on it since they announced it but they decided to back out hours before the reveal... Postponing a simple trailer of all things...
I'm not asking for much KOF, just don't look like shit and feel floaty like Samsho. Please for the love of god don't look like shit again.
Imagine if Arcsys made a Naruto fighter; kid naruto, teen Naruto, Shippuden Naruto, Adult Naruto, sage mode Naruto, Kyubi Naruto, 6 paths naruto. Then think about all the different Sasukes, Kakashis, etc. Or the Fate series with all the Saber clones and Rin clones.
There are people bashing DNF Duel saying it's an "unknown IP" and "will die in one week" while asking for P5A... Do those people not realize that the only reason why they have a leg to stand on is because Arcsys decided to turn an obscure anime RPG called P4 into a fighting game that was also dead at launch?
Definitely passing on GGST. At least there's still KOF and dungeon fighter to look forward to.
And there's another new and interesting game from Arcsys. It's about time we get new fighting games instead of the same old handful everytime. The future is looking pretty good right now.

Damn, GBVS really did get released in the worst year possible. Released before the pandemic but is the only game to get all the flak for not having rollback when rollback existed even before T7. Rollback tech, founded and mandatory in 2020. If the game did have rollback people would find other reasons to hate it. Look at the games that actually have rollback lmao.
So that's why they chose him. It makes sense I guess, and seeing that clip of him made me like him a bit more. Not exactly a character I'd choose but not too bad.

Just took a survey for Genshin Impact and there was a question asking how much you spent on the game and there were options for spending over $1000. People really do this??? Good lord, I thought whaling meant $200-$300 lmao.
Arcsys will have a seminar going over the techniques they use to create their characters next week, and the old seminar is available to view for a limited time. Since we have some veteran game developers here, it might pique their interest.
lmao at all these people with their "controversies" and "issues" surrounding Cyberpunk now. The stuff they created for Cagliostro was already dumb enough but now this? I don't know how anyone can take them seriously.
