    Interesting, both GG and BB went (or rather goes right now when it comes to BB) through that phase where they become other type of video games, like how after GGXX they made 2 Overture, an action-adventurish strategy game, just to make more fighting games for both series afterwards. Wonder if only Dark War is planned for Blazblue related content in 2021.

    So I hear that more news of a DMC1 remake will be a thing after Resident Evil 4 remake.

    Curious, do you feel RE4 even needs a remake? that game must of gotten ported like over 5 times already, and I thought it kept up even in modern times.

    After completing RE3 Remake hell no! I bet RE4 Remake would have missing contents just like on RE2 and RE3 LOL.

    If they're gonna remake any RE game it should be Resident Evil Code Veronica X.

    Yeah, actually, logically RE: Code Veronica would be the next REmake. Honestly, REmake 3 is ok, remember that RE3 was never really a long game (still wish that they could've got the campaign to over 10 hours however). Don't knock REmake 2, that game is fantastic.

    Yeah FoN is correct. RE3 wasn't a really long game on the fair side so there's that yeah. I think part of that reason was because RE3 was in development hell in the past, and the announcement of the PS2 got Capcom devs over-stressed with work that some legit slept at Capcom and some wanted to exit working on RE3 to work on PS2 plans. Whereas RE2R was fair length in my opinion.

    Hideaki Itsuno: Shortly after we finished Capcom vs. SNK 2, we started working on a 3D version of Capcom vs. SNK 3 for the PS2. CvS3 was meant to be the last [2D fighting game], but then it ended up becoming a 3D game along the way, and then SNK folded and that project got canceled too.

    Mannnn this would of been incredible to watch lol.

    Very interesting to see that ever since then neither companies thought about making a 3rd game even though people would most likely play it but now with the failure of MvCI we might not see a crossover fighting game from/with Capcom for a long time.

    Has anyone Parsec DOA5 and DOA6 before?

    I know DOA6 has online netplay for lobby matches in itself so it's silly of course, but has there been tests with Parsec using VS mode for it?

    Granted there might be host advantage as well, but it shouldn't be "that" bad, given that both games have general bad netplay to begin with despite the PC versions being the superior platform.

    Brad Venable (VA) just recently passed away. He voiced Griffon/Nightmare in DMC5 and also did numerous other roles from other titles such as Dragonball Super, Ghost in the Shell, Attack on Titan, Berserk, Fire Emblem, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man etc.

    I wouldn't mind if Microsoft were to acquire Japanese companies, but yeah, saying that Nintendo would be a hard sell would be the understatement of the century haha. Though Nintendo was struggling a bit at the time with the Nintendo 64 & Gamecube underperforming compared to Playstation. I would be lying though if I said that I wouldn't mind seeing how a Nintendo game would run on the Xbox (or Xbox Series X) hardware.

    As for this generation, I really think that Microsoft should vie for SEGA Atlus. Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon is great, and having a niche/borderline-mainstream franchise like Persona on the Xbox Series X would be a huge step in the right direction. Basically Microsoft just needs a few notable Japanese exclusives on their platform to entice new demographics towards it.

    Doesn't surprise me. I know of people who found out about DOA through Pornhub and shit, and then you have StudiowFOW or whatever making shit loads of cash from DOA IP. but they use the word donation. That is the secret word to making money from copy written material This dude straight up selling DVD's lol.

    Because of how well DMC5 did, apparently Capcom has interest in a DMC1 remake using RE engine, and then I noticed how old DMC1 is, it released 20 years ago. Holy crap.

    @Chaos Ah gotcha, so I ordered there a bunch of times, but I ran into some detailed problem.
    Tried to order some speakers but says I got insufficient funds, but yet, I got more than triple on my bank. My bank card is still active.

    I've bought a lot of stuff from Ebay. Mostly retro games and TCG stuff. I haven't run into any problems except for one game I ordered didn't work past a certain point and I got a refund. So no problems really. I've also sold some stuff there before.
