  • TN really needs to buff Rachel and Raidou, their pressure is garbage even from their most obvious or slow moves imo

They have to buff him in a way where he doesn't get bullied. He requires too much of opponent mistakes to get the ball rolling. Other characters can condition opponents to "force" a mistake which is different. TN has to buff him in a way where he can force people to make a mistake for speedier characters, and opening up defense vs slow ones that doesn't rely too heavily on Yomi for defensive players.

If Raidou can get that type of enhancements, I do think he'll be pretty high up there while still retaining Heavyweight factors without too much power, but enough power to retain "boss" status with high risk / high reward.

Though it's very possible DOA6 is Raidou's last game, so unsure if it's a fix worth taking anymore, upon realizing that... I just left Raidou in the winds lol.

Course he's definitely still playable ahaha, I use to get intense matches with Emann, Kwiggles etc. and still managed to get some games in. He's definitely not that bad and viable, but it's more the character's worth vs the rest of the cast when other characters do stuff....that's better. But believe it or not but I'll take DOA6 Raidou over 5 any day even if it's miniscule improvements.
Still mad they were lazy with Kasumi's 9PP 36i GB and instead of fixing it and making it a consistent +1 on block they went the OP Kasumi route and made it -5... One of her worst moves imo since it has no real use when she has 9PK that leaves her +1 or +2 on block with P+K although it sometimes whiffs >.>
Virtua Fighter has one of the best wall combo games I've learned in a while, it's so satisfying to get damage from. DOA6 has a good wall game too with the new soft wall hit but VF has something about the re stuns and damage that really makes it feel more rewarding to learn

VF5US's wall game is immense to make up for the fact that there are Ring Out's also on unwalled, and low wall stages (100% damage combos). DOA6's wall game is good, but couldn't really be more lucrative, because extreme damage in DOA6 comes from environmental damage. VF5US has no environmental damage game, so it gets compensated with a more intense wall game.

That I noted xD but VF is more bare bones in general and relies more on the core mechanics so combos feel even more rewarding without any meter or cheap comebacks!
I can't wait for VF5US to come to PC, everyone will be able to wear each other's clothes and hairstyles and someone can mod Dural's model on Pai, that'll be so cool^•^ If DOA doesn't announce anything in July that'll be my next big excitement
I miss back when we got that attack on titan DLC for DOA5, that was such an epic time to be a DOA DLC buyer when it was the collab packs<3
Random but I wonder if there's any Japanese players who are like English players and hate their native language dubs and prefer the foreign language instead? I've watched a few Japanese Kasumis use the English dub but idk if it's the same kinda thing like how the west does

Then again, it's just those two people. Might be more people over there or even at the DOAX JPN community that prefers JPN dubbing or mixed.

It's a massive fallacy to assume that the voice acting/dubbing in a foreign language is inherently better than English voice acting, if you don't actually understand the foreign language. The more that you learn of the foreign language, the more that you realise and understand that the foreign voice acting isn't better at all. It's just... Different.

Yeah I think irs just a matter of preference overall too like DB said, the Japanese may think some voices in their native dub don't sound good at all like how us English players have certain native dub voices we dislike too xD
VF5US has legit the most brutal and coldest/realistic KO animations I've seen in a while, I love how the characters fall when they're struck from a hard enough hit & keel over or when they try to get up & you strike them and they literally go limp xD I can see why casuals RQ & rage when they see their mains in that state
Downloading VF5US! If you're a DOA player and aren't interested in giving VF5US a try you're missing out xD

As a DOA player, I would rather wait for a Switch port (which PS4 might be timed exclusive), and what I would be missing out isn't much. The only thing I'd be missing out is VF1 Models, Custom music, and proper way of getting photos of My VF5FS customization stuff. But VF5US is what I've played before, and has barebones customization items (which will be added via DLC) compare to previous version VF5FS.
If you can, please pray for my mother, the doctor found a small cyst in her chest, and while they don't think it's serious and she's been getting treatment, she'll be going in two weeks for a mammogram to make sure it's not cancerous.
My sister finally graduated high school!^•^
Finished making the Mai Shiranui Beginners' guide for anyone interested in picking her up and knowing her key tools^.^

I wish I was a modder so I could ban Human and that other bastard off FSD forever, so over the trolling and irrelevance.
