    apparently there are rumors of Soul Calibur 1+2 getting remastered, as long as they got my man Spawn in there im good, which is unlikely

    Man, I just wanted them back up on the Xbox store, but that would be even better! Put it on Switch too so we can see Link back in action. SC3 without the memory saves glitch would be real nice too.

    It would be interesting but bringing in SC3 Arcade Edition would be a huge bonus. I hope its the console versions for the prequels, would love to have the Khan Super Sessions soundtrack brought back for Edge/Blade.

    Here's an opinion that'll land me in FGC prision; I want pure charge characters back in Street Fighter, none of this hybrid half motion half charge nonsense they've been peddling lately

    And while we're at it let's bring back hands; piano inputs were always satisfying to perform

    In general I don't mind, but I can't deny that as a pad user, doing moves like Guile's super flash kick has always been a pain, lol.

    But us old guys who spent so much time in the past finally getting those inputs down, only to see it become an anachronistic skill all these years later, that's pain too, lol.

    Stuff like Ryu's hadoken input and Akuma's raging demon input are iconic tho, would be weird to see them go.

    while I am interested in the new Budokai Tenkaichi, it's gonna be mad annoying getting nickled and dimed for all the characters ,cause you know they ain't about to let us unlock a huge DBZ roster by just playing the game like we did in the olden days

    best case scenario they let us unlock all the standard characters like Yamcha and Krillin for free and then keep all the premium characters behind a paywall like Andriod 21 and SSJ4 Gogeta

    remember folks if you play Dark Souls but if you use a shield; play with sorceries, use summons, use items, use Black Knight weapons, use halberds, wear heavy armor, upgrade your healing, or dodge too much, you're not really playing Dark Souls, your just a filthy casul

    guess that makes sense, cause even Bayo's 2 BP was easier than 3 but harder than 1, it's doable for the most part but then you get to the final stage and the shit is impossible because fuck double bosses that have no synergy and calling it a "challenge"

    I know EA is pretty infamous, and a youtuber has mention that is where developers go to die. Which is where I want NRS to end up.

    @inochinagi I only want destruction based on what certain companies did to the things I like & cared about that they took away (despite how much I would've paid for).

    MK11 was a weird one for me, never have I played a fighting game that I thought was awful on Day 1 and for 4 years my stance never wavered, so as long as NRS leaves all of MK11 in the dust and embraces new horizons with MK12 i'll be happy

    also if they make Kitana strong, and bring back Stryker, and Sindel, then i'll be truly happy

    NRS has not made the best decisions, especially with respect to MK11, but I don't think I want to see the series die. It's one of the best and only FG series produced/American by American developers. I like the variation of traditional 2D fighters mixed in with something different like MK. That's my take; plus it has a unique lore and cast (although I don't how they're going to fix MK12 after MK11's story).

    with all the hype Cammy's been getting you'd almost forget that 2 other characters were also announced for SF6, but Zangief's an old man who's been around for 30 years and Lily is a T Hawk clone, and nobody likes T. Hawk, so it makes sense

    But of all the Mexican SF characters, I'd prefer Juli... maybe unbrainwashed and returned to being Julia.

    And all the talk I've seen of Lily is debate on whither or not she's a loli and some people disappointed she didn't turn out to be from the Philippines, lol.

    and as for Lily, honestly the 1st time I saw her trailer the Talim vibes were strong so my ignorant ass was like "is she Mexican or South East Asian?", it wasn't until after a couple rewatches and I heard the music and her voice it became clear that she's from T. Hawk's tribe

    blows my mind that Rig players in 2023 still claim that Nyo is a bad match for them, I can see that being the case in DOA5 but after Nyo's 6k nerf ain't no dam way :/

    oh well, at the end of the day, birds chirp, dogs dark, Rig players gonna say every match is bad for them lol

    I haven't seen that AH stuff myself, but I get if people have strong feelings cuz this is the most serious conflict for the west probably since WW2. We're literally on the verge of WW3 every day more than we have ever been before. Yeah, "blame Putin not Russians", but plenty of Russians do support Putin. A large minority want to protest it, but the majority are apathetic, which can be argued is the same as support.

    I feel that, silence/apathy is consent and all, still, i think the reaction to anything remotely Russian is a bit much, like dam I hope Bayman don't get no shine around Feb 24th anytime soon

    Lol, I mean, it's not like I'm gonna stop playing Russian characters myself. Bayman has no idea what's going on in our world, and if the evilness of a character even mattered then no one would play characters like Bison/Vega or Raidou. I guess some people would be that extreme, but then, I wouldn't blame a Ukrainian person for being triggered by any image or representation of Russia, for instance.

    Finally got around to playing Wanted: Dead, that game made by ex-Ninja Gaiden devs; nicest thing I can say about it is that it certainly feels like a game that was made in 2004

    It's one of those things where when people hear "ex NG devs", people will automatically think "ah so the game must be good" when any game/dev have a probability to not release a good product lol.

    After trying out both Valkyrie Elysium (also Soleil) and finally Wanted: dead, both games share extreme similar jank that just doesn't work in current times because they simply can't keep up with the current time despite both good reviews and bad ones. I do feel people might just be clinging onto old nostalgia of past NG products when they were the main hype.

    I think Devil's Third swiftly murdered any faith ppl have when they hear the phrase "made by ex-Ninja Gaiden devs"

    and holy cow I didn't know Valkyrie Elysium was made by Soleil, only thing I remember about that game was that it was forgettable, but I did like their Samurai Jack game, even if that game was just baby's first NG with a Sam Jack skin

    the orginal Max Payne is getting a remake; this is one of the few remakes im actually fine with, since the OG Max Payne is still fun but has PS1 pisswater graphics, is locked behind consoles that are 15 years old, and is a pain to get running on modern PC hardware, so remake away!

    This is neat. Max Payne is actually backwards compatible on the XseX in 4K60fps. A 2020's remake is still welcome however.

    I replayed 3 on the legendary edition a few weeks ago. Couldn't stop playing... until I got to the Thesia mission then remembered how much I hated that chapter then gave up.

    even between Metroid Prime Remastered, Pikmin 4, and a freaking Samba De Amigo sequel, the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection was the most exciting announcement for me, I can finally play these games on PC/Switch and have no need to bust out the Nintendo DS

    hope it plays well, the previews give me PS2 vibes when games weren't the most polished but weren't afraid to experiment and try something different, however with that approach games like this either end up being hella niche and fun or hella niche and terrible, guess we'll find out in a few days
