    The hype is inevitabru. However, how many will actually stick with her? Plus, you gotta admit, Nyotengu is a lot more original than Phase-4.

    Originality aside. I feel it's going to be the gimmick of the character that will determine who stays, and how people will deal with the pros and cons of said, gimmick.

    Both are right. Samuraihachi because literally everything conceivable is more original than Phase 4 and Hold_Junkie because Nyo's prolonged popularity will depend on her gimmick factor.

    I be seeing more people on FS than DoA. But that's probably because the netcode is amazing. It also doesn't hurt, I'm part of the community here in NY. I'm like, one of 3 (Technically 2, since 1 of them isn't American born) American Eileen players that aren't causal.

    So, apparently I'm recognized as one of 2 American Eileen players. They did FT2, so, I wasn't prepared for that. Really close games. I did better on the side monitors. Got respect regardless, and people are willing to play me again. I'm not just any free, at this point. Some1 told me, "I learned 2 things coming up in VF. Jacky is god, and Akira is an asshole."

    I've come to hate ranked. Smooth connections in lobbies, everyone using dial up plays ranked only it seems. Don't even get me started on the stupid point system.

    That shit ruined me the whole rest of the set. I did a bit better later on, but had I had my DS3, perhaps better. Thinking too much, in a bad way. I was going to bring it, but I had a pitcher of juice with me. Good thing bc I had a lil accident with that in my bag.

    people play way too much sf, like honestly it's the most played fighter out there and not for anything as much as i like the game i'd like some variety instead of "oh street fighter"

    t's the only reason other FGs exist but we've heard that before. I don't hate anime FGs, I just prefer already playing games I grew up with, and gotten comfortable with. SF, Tek, VF, DoA, SC, KoF. Can't be assed to learn another from Scratch. I'll try though.
