    yeah I'm going to be on that Hayate/Ein/Hitomi ride for now. Akira's on vacation :p Good thing for us though is Akira only got one nerf this time, 3P+K.

    Oh man. Kokohoe's move that is a high punch and low kick at the same time that deep stuns to open you up makes me rage so hard.

    it was like that in vanilla. but it no more opens you up since ultimate. it's 6P+K (-8 on guard) and the only following is p (-7). it should be easy to counter that. moreover it doesn't track.

    She doesn't have an OH. Heichu throw strings are a 50 / 50 between mid punch and heichu throw. She is hella safe, though.

    Yeah, I'm getting more familiar with strings and where they'll end in/out of stun due to hard knockdowns if they finish it. It allows me to mash when I know they're string canceling.
    Brad Wong players. Does Brad have any re-tracking strings?

    So I know tracking moves are going to hit, that's not an issue. I'm looking for moves that if they step the first attack, the follow up (that is not a tracking move) will hit them. 3PP, might be one. If it is, sadly that move is mad unsafe.
    After using Brad for about 2 months, I can safely say he is the highest skill cap character in the roster. And I main Akira too...

    You know if you think about it..... Brad is built like a Virtua Fighter character.

    1) Lots of Moves.
    2) Stances Have Moves that can be used while backturned.
    3) Some stances have defensive counter measures to compensate for the absence of holds. Such as Parried, Catch Grabs, Jumping Status and Awkward Hurtbox Orientation.

    I should stop neglecting that drunk Bastard.

    Hands down, Brad Wong is the hardest DOA character to utilize competently. I've seen some of the struggles that the Brad player in my scene has to go through from a mashing Ayane scrub like me. I wouldn't really call Brad "built like a Virtua Fighter" character, because not every VF character is stance-based. Brad is more along the lines of Shun Di or Lei-Fei compared to say Taka or Jacky.

    Timing is instant when you hit P and it allows it to be buffered. JC Akira showed it to me at NEC. Takes practice getting used to, but once you get it, it's super reliable.

    I've used 43P and 4PP+K before, 43P its +19 but doing the 8 followup bumps it back to +13 and leaves around 1.00m from the opponent, H+PP leaves you at +22 and about 2.00m to the opponent, you're only gonna be using 3-4 of those 22 frames to make an approach, i think H+KP is a better option.

    +13 is high enough to beat out i9 jabs even with 466P+K. Condition the opponent to duck or mash by constantly doing GBoD, then light em up with 466P+K.

    @SpawN, wouldn't it put a delight on your face to see that streamer loser to the person they talk shit on though? Rivalries are great TV.

    I suppose it would be.... but if I was a newbie like I was 8 months ago then this wouldn't sit right with me.

    Can't we all just have a care free time.... as we beat the crap out if each other ? :(
