    After drawing yourself close enough, you can attempt to side step (if you think they are not going to finish the 4P string). You may also try to bait them into pressing buttons/doing something really unsafe. 6P+K tends work okay if the Kasumi player starts getting a little too silly.

    it's not so much dealing with the follow ups that's the problem, it's the fact the nyo does not have an answer to the 4p. it's high crush so you can't intercept it with a fast high, it's 12 frames so it's faster than any of nyo's mids or lows, and the 4p is not a crouching move (despite being high crush), so nyo can't even low OH throw it

    the only options nyo has to defend against it are blocking, side stepping, or countering, and all 3 of those options lose to throws, so if you fight a kasumi who just mixes up between throw and 4p, life can get pretty miserable

    injustice 2 will have a rpg upgrade system? sounds like SFxT gem system stuff, which i didn't hate, but i can see how it could be annoying

    Especially for me since I don't like RPG Systems in any game, including RPGs.

    I'm finnaly getting more comfortable using nao, now if i could just remember all her options off 6k and 5k then i'll be halfway there

    she's not really my cup of tea, but im trying to branch out with my characters. Can't play Nyo forever lol

    You'll memorize the options soon enough, I struggled with that for about the first two week I started learning her. The worst one you won't really need imo is KKKK6K, it's a silly high launcher kick replacing a low sweep, it's not worth it.

    Her options from K and 5K are pretty simple; just 4, 6 and 8. You gotta know when to use them (;. She does have 6KKKKP tho.

    @KasumiLover69 Now that's an option I haven't heard of. Makes sense tho, I don't usually go past three Ks in neutral.

    been playing DOA4 recently, and i've been running into nothing but ryu and hayate, what exactly makes those 2 guys so popular in that game?

    Ryu and hayate top tier? hmm, i can see it in hayates' case since he seems to have that "i knock you down once, ggs" factor to him, ryu has that as well, and is just really annoying to fight. Honestly i came into DOA4 waaaaay late, so i never learnt who was good and who sucked

    Ninja characters, Helena and Gen Fu are dumb. Spartan, Jann Lee and a few others are good. Everyone else might as well not even be in the game.

    I know this is thread is way old but imma share this story with you guys and gals anyway. The player who actually beat me and got me to make original thread was an extremely patient and lame raidou player who beat my ass 6 games in a row at the time, im pretty sure i didn't even get a round off that time.

    I ran into him yesterday, and i played him for 5 games, he played the same patient lame raidou, and i beat him 5 games straight, I thanked him for the learning experience, and then i left. so there's definetly improvement being made, and i want to thank y'all and him for the help.

    Sonico and Homura are the top two, but honestly, it doesnt really matter unless you run into someone really good.

    Kamui player here, dunno if you play love max but catherine and kira were actually good there. For Nitro If you like grapplers try out Ethica, shes right below top tier too.

    man you weren't kidding about sonico and homura, sonico is basically AH3 maori on super crack and homura is super easy really big damage, which i kinda like

    playing gen fu again, it's nice playing a character with an actual jab, speedy mids, can scare ppl in blocking...why did i ever quit you?

    That is indisputable, Gen fu is a very boring character, but he gets the wins and i can't complain about that.

    Whatever you see on screen is in the past. Online becomes a contest of who can crush what in most cases. Conditioning is often used to play mind games.
