  • Kinda mad that I started MK11 with Cetrion, cause shes so much fun, super strong, has 2 variations that cover every match up and now I have no desire to learn anyone else =(
    Any1 else ever get double dangerzone combos in The Rubmle with the "get back in there!" guy? is that a glitch or something that can be set up? cause it seems like if you angle yourself correctly and keep the combo going long enough, the game just forgets you already triggered the DZ and lets you do it again

    I think holding and having the stun reset contributes. I know there's a reset time for a fact though and its pretty short.

    I've always thought it's only after a return to neutral, I've never heard of it having a timer.

    Why does having a CR sub constitute being a weeb?
    Mileena fans are a trip, they play the character for 2 years in MKX saying the character is unviable bottom tier, but then the best UK player picks her up and does so well with her NRS had to nerf her in the final patch, so never listen to what Mileena players say, they have no clue what they're talking about

    I'm pretty sure Foxy didn't play her until after she was buffed. And piercing was a top 5 character. Before she was buffed, when she was low tier I think only Saltface did well with her.

    I think he picked her up when Kung Lao got nerfed, don't remember Mileena getting mad buffed before that, especially since the tools he used to dominate were pretty much the same throughout most of MKX's lifespan, basically B1 2 and low sai if i recall correctly

    Her b1 2 was buffed. Early on it was -3 and it became +2. Then later nerfed to -1 in the xl patch. Her low sai was also got less recovery in one of the patches. She got multiple buffs in all of her variations throughout the game's early patches.
    "welp, im getting outplayed, time to give up during round 3 and decline the rematch" this has been my ranked match experience all night, goodness gracious...

    lol I just fought someone who declined so fast I called it a quickdraw decline lol.
    after that set between Daigo and Fuudo, Grandblue looks like Battle Fantasia (also made by arcsys) mixed with KOF, doesn't really appeal to me but fans of traditional 2D fighters with a dash of anime will like it
    After 200+ games with the latest patch I'm gonna say that SSA costng meter is not as meta defining as it initially seems. If anything it gives bad players even more opportunities to waste meter and it gives good players something extra to think about should they use it, making it less abuseable

    It is actually funny how there are 3 other 3d fighters with perfectly fine sidesteps to steal from yet TN gotta be hipsters and be all different, even when it makes no sense. Was making ssa a meter burn move the best way to balance it? hell no, but is it a game changer? Not really, or who knows, maybe this was planned to be there from the beginning like other stuff they're patching in now, like lobbies....

    Sounds about right yeah, though TN didn't really sit down to think about into looking for alternatives. There might be a small light within DOA6U/DOA6++/DOA6LR possibly. It's definitely tolerable, but it just makes them look a bit "too unique" which doesn't really work for an overall actual appeal, especially if you are trying to fit the norm but yet be weird in the norm for multiple bad reasons.
    So the overall message of Wataten! is that it's okay to be a geeky social reject with no friends and a fascination with little girls, as long as you're a good looking anime chick

    Lesson learned: when playing old dead fighting games with very small player bases, don't win too hard or you might make your opponent quit, and you can't afford that :/

    so is crouch dash canceling the most efficient way to move forward in DOA or are you better of just going into run?

    Luckily DOA has the ability to gain immediate crouch the moment a jab whiffs, which is why fuzzy guarding is viable in DOA and doing it up close gives you the room to immediately guard which is different from crouch dashing towards an opponent.

    If we wanna be extremely anal about the answer... it depends on the character
    Turbo rapid step forward is the fastest way with some characters
    And characters like Marie Rose & Honoka have the slowest run speeds in the game

    But in the short run, the fastest (human) way to approach an enemy after, for example, the Jann Lee Dragon Gunner in order to land a guaranteed followup is a crouch dash and not a standing dash. The true fastest way would be some crazy tool-assisted short Rapid Step input into stuff lol.
    so Nyo can now cancel into hiten no mai stance from 3p+k, guess that got patched recently because she was incapable of this in DOA6 prior to 1.04

    How do you do this? I thought she was only capable of going into Karasu-Tobi from 3P+K by inputting 3P+KPP.

    You just press 5p+K during the karasu tobi part, so the input is 3p+K 5p 5p+k
    Whoa, Nyo's head actually tracks with her opponents now during her idle animation, as opposed to doa5 when she had no head tracking cept during BT while crouched, that's crazy, I wonder when that got patched in
