    The reality of the situation is that DOA6 is fun, but the Nioh 2 beta has more game than the full release of our favorite fighter. :( I can't believe how badly I actually want Hayashi on DOA again.

    Shimbori kinda of screwed himself... But Itagaki had passion for DOA and DOA5 was a Hayashi production and was better than DOA6.

    Hayashi just scheduled people, ran budget, and negotiated the contracts for crossover content. He had nothing to do with 5's direction. Was all Shimbori.

    And from conversations we've had with Shimbori, it became clear his producer role in 6 rendered him useless as a director, hence Nakamura stepping up and fucking everything over.

    So I wouldn't really say Shimbori screwed himself, except for the EVO incident. He definitely screwed himself there. Everything else was the company screwing him. There is no way he could take on as much work as they were expecting of him and produce a good result. He had too many projects.

    Can someone please point me out how to unlock lore 65 post glitch? I know it has something to do with Nyo-Tengu. I've replayed her story mode and DOA quest to no avail.

    I have been told that it is unlocked by reaching Fighter Level 60 with Nyotengu, which is possible since I do have the entry unlocked and have Nyotengu at level 60. But I can't confirm 100%.

    Just because a character doesn't look good on paper doesn't mean they suck. Sometimes you just have to play with what you know and what you like until you get it right and people are proving it at tournaments.

    Didn't Rangchu prove almost a year ago that tier lists don't matter as much as players think that they do? Sure, a high tier or a top tier character has a bigger/better chance at winning a tournament than a low-tier one but at the end of the day its all about the skill of the player that determines his/her win or loss in a tournament.

    For the people that say Hitomi sucks... I point you to LordXav1er. He got a match on Sio-fucking-logica. My next target is people that say Marie Rose sucks. UHHHH no. You need to train and get better at the game.

    Nah, no one thinks Hitomi sux. Just that there's better characters than her and she's kinda boring. She's just solid, like Ryu in an SF game (Minus 2 and 5. One being OP, other being trash) btw like how that seemed heated up there until ya'll realized "Oh, shit. Sm1 wants 2 play DoA w/me?"

    Good to know everyone seems to know things in 6. Thing is, I don't care to get, "good" in 6. I chose to do that in 5. Seeing 6 reminds me of SFv, I see nothing overtly difficult or different to convince me otherwise. (Gold & above is the same skillset/Just pick top-tier) I'm on PC too guys btw

    I'm mainly talking about the player, not so much Eliot. Does he hold here? Does he guard up for too long when you are close? You have to pick up on habits fast. Just because a move is good, doesn't mean you just throw it out. Just have to know what to look for. My history of fgs and how I take in stuff, I've done better when stopped thinking so much about what char I'm vs'ing

    Ya but the thing is Eliot has everything. There really is no approach to him because he has an answer to every situation. He's literally too good of a character.

    TN removed technical fidelity in universal mechanics. Whoever feels more like the previous game along with those moves' properties.+more It becomes apparent they balanced shit wrong n rushed the game. The good characters in SFV tend to be those that didn't change much+more. They chose 2 make some characters unable 2 play, "SF" so, it's harder 4 those char where throwin somethin out is preferred v playin safe

    I remember me, SomethinigUnique, and Lewis heading there together at one point and only played for like an hour and a half. Not wasting trips like that again lol.

    Well I'm glad I created an actual gameplay discussion in my status. Here is the thing, I don't want anyone nerfed, but Eliot is kind of an asshole to fight. And if he did get nerfed, I wouldn't say a thing unless they drilled him good.

    DOA gets the coolest guests IMO: Nicole, VF, KOF. Tekken got Negan & Noctis and now MK is getting... Terminator. Ew. I'll take a hard pass on that.
