    It wasn't all that great to be honest, veeeery slow match. Eliot got some nice juggles off of his launch throw and Brad was played like DOA4, although he does have a grab from his handstand stance... although it was somewhat underwhelming.

    Are there any videos of people who understand the game system? It's all videos of people just blocking strings back and forth, no attempts to throw punish at all. Even the people who made the game don't seem to know how to throw punish, it's so weird to watch.

    I'm curious about this too. Primarily because I want to know if Helena's 214F+P that leaves her Bokuho guarantees anything. Seeing as it's a 12 frame grab that does pathetic damage. If you mean when Bass uses the grab as a reset at the end of combo's then no free launcher, otherwise yes.

    I agree. Ayane got rewarded for making a mistake. I hope they fix this. I don't want to play a game that is built on a foundation of BS mechanics.

    I don't know frames but the recovery animation looks about half of what there is in DOA4. Do holds recover faster now than in DOA4? Cause it sure looks like it.

    Second video around the six second mark. Can someone tell me how Ayane recovered from that counter so fast? Hopefully I'm missing something cause that recovery time looked non existent. Edit: Bass actually looks good which is cool, Rig looks like an absolute monster though.
