Should Team Ninja be forced to only use arcade sticks for future DOA development?

No, I'm not missing the point. You want them to use Sticks in development so everything is more stick friendly, and by your own naive assertion, pad friendly as well. Here's a hint from every other fighting game on the market. That's a bullshit assessment.

    Music

Remove the random flutes, slow it down 1/8th, and re-work the theme sticking with what you've got from 0:22 to 0:55.... and they would've had DOA 5's menu music. Instead, well... unexpected, but overall forgettable. I guess if Shiden was more of a powerhouse this would fit him more.

Should Team Ninja be forced to only use arcade sticks for future DOA development?

So whats your point? You want everyone on the dev team to start using stick because somebody somewhere is having trouble with raijin? The inputs, if anything, got easier. I'm not saying they should stay that way, but they are hardly impossible on stick.

Should Team Ninja be forced to only use arcade sticks for future DOA development?

I use both analogs as well when performing Raijin. And why not? Going from D-pad for the initial throw, to one analog, to another, and STILL having incredibly strict timing and accuracy being a requirement here. . . this is a throw that takes a lot of practice to perform even on a controller...

Should Team Ninja be forced to only use arcade sticks for future DOA development?

If DOA required stick to play, I wouldn't play DOA. Me and stick are simply incompatible.

I'm a tournament player. If someones gonna rage quit a tournament, that's free money. You also are ignoring the practical uses, taunts don't have to be spammed. They can be used sparingly and can actually inflict even greater psychological damage when used correctly. You are limiting yourself...

Most of this review I can agree with, but... Clearly hubbs, your thumb has developed thumbs.

Yes, they do exist. They are small in number, but they do exist. In the training of a player however, you cannot and will not make that assumption until you have studied absolutely every possible use for it. This is very low level, primative thinking you have adopted Dragon. Taunts serve a...

Easily Accessible, yet Hard to Master!

Well, my point is... you do! This is a mixup based game, you need to have every option at your disposal. Even the terrible options. People can vote for the marijuana reform party as well, doesn't make it a good idea. Every day a person should be running through exercise mode first thing until...

Actually, I right. That's why they get their asses kicked in a landslide fashion every single time they go against us. Just because they have a community doesn't mean it's worth a damn from a competitive standpoint. I wouldn't trust them with testing anything and providing worthy feedback.

DOA 4: Dealing with Wake-Up Kicks

Should being able to counter out of stuns be removed?

I am. Notice I didn't say anything about throw punishment in relation to parries. The attacker can still throw someone out of a parry for high counter throw damage. It would be no different then how holds currently are in doa:d/DOA3, except they would do 20 damage instead of 100. Do I see a...

I do. Although some moves are so ridiculously bad that I only spare them on scrubs for the lolfactor. Actually I think that's a major problem. If a person can't even remember their own characters movelist they shouldn't be playing people.
