Should being able to counter out of stuns be removed?

Removing holds from stun isn't extreme. The ability to use holds in stun IS extreme. Natural combos are a step in the right direction, but seriously... if they are going to have holds out of stun they need to reverse the out of stun properties of holds and parries and make parries the only way...

You don't see many folks winning with Bayman either. That's because people spend too much time looking at paper stats and don't spend any time dissecting the human brain and its fallacies. If you're gonna play DOA 4 throw that paper shit out the window, its useless. If you're going to play a...

Should being able to counter out of stuns be removed?

Right, so, instead, we have a system where you can't do any damage whatsoever UNLESS you bait the hold and get a throw. Does this seem right to you in comparison?

Ah... if you just look at this on paper, you will never understand. The setup. I do an attack, any safe attack that is obviously safe, and that even a scrub would understand is safe, and it gets blocked. 90% of players have an inherent twitch reflex afterwards to NOT mix up with a high or a...

    DOA In Dallas (D.I.D.) #7 June 10th-12th! $500 Guaranteed!

VF testers interference resulted in the overall destruction of a steadily advancing fighting game franchise. Whether or not VF itself has any features that would "work well" with DOA is moot, because clearly the testers themselves, who were very well versed with VF, couldn't find any applicable...

Mid Parries are not as much about what they can give the defender, but more about what they stop from the attacker. Less guessing involved. As for parries in DOA:D, they can stop all high and mid attacks. I'm sure you can see the use for that.

    Duke Nukem Forever

Playing the PC version goes a long way towards the enjoyment of the game as the console versions are substantially weaker in graphics, aiming, and load time. That said, I've been having a ball with it. I found the Duke Burger portion of the game to be particularly clever.

My tactics involved less parries, thats for sure... diagonals just dont work for me on that pad... on the other hand, baymans pp6k is +9, so run away. That character is not trash in DOAD.

I have the game now because I won signed a copy of it. I don't however have a system to play it on, and my experience with the game prior to the tournament was limited to playing on Cyberevil's 3ds for like 45 minutes a week before hand. Only really had time to look at a few move differences...

I wasn't the only one who got screwed over. I believe it was legitimately the fault of one of the other NVGA people however, simply due to the sheer number of people being screwed off the bracket. Didn't help my second match put me up against SR though, but at least i "caught" the error in...

FSD EXCLUSIVE: Perfect Legend interviews Team Ninja (Part 2)

There are a thousand and one theories as to why Itagaki did it, but the fact is one month prior to release DOA 4 was a good game. Itagaki was producer of the game, and he had everything solid removed from the game and released in its current form in a complete rush job.

The game doesn't "work" anyway. This would still be an improvement.
