    Yes, but keep in mind that guarding happens on the 0 frame. So you have a +11 advantage and are doing a 15 frame attack which hits on the 16th frame, that's 5 frames which means on the 5th frame they're guarding.

    for DOA players, when you see 11i it means 11 initial. We've always gone under the assumption of adding one additional frame for the impact/active frame. The 11i example you gave is an i12. The only time you add 2 frames is when you're guard punishing with an attack. In open space the move is 11i.
