Alright show's over. She likes Honoka so just leave it as that. DOA's story stopped being good after Bankotsubo died anyway so whatever lol. Maybe Genra as well, and maybe DOAD's retcons but it's debatable.

Roughly 70% of it's story has been a major spotlight for the two. The story has to be an adventure to stop evil, if we had to plug fillers with trope characters for the entire run and the entire budget spent on them, then it's automatically garbage without question.

While only a few bits true, I still don't see how Honoka is any better lol. Her involvement with 6 (since this is technically her first time in story) has been pretty atrocious. It's literally a story panel of weeabo friendship cutesy trope with Marie Rose that never ceases to die apparently.

Then again, the same could be applied to main heroes where in some fighters they'd be mid tier or even low tier, but they can't overly go nuts with them either or else everyone would pick the hero because of "protagonist plot powers, aka Goku".

Hey Beerus ain't no villain! But I see what you mean. I think fighting games need to take it into a more serious approach when it comes to the characters with what they are (especially in the anime), and then develop something based on them as the foothold.
