Why in the world would they nerf P+K from +1 to -8. Seriously. I'm confused.
They -might- be changing the properties it has on hit. Won't know until the actual translation is out, or until we get our hands on the game if the translation's not very specific.

If not, then it's just a useless move. Not like we don't have those already.

I got the first sentence translated from someone who knows how to read Japanese. Here's what they got from it

P+K: Effect on CH+ changed to backwards crumple staggger

edit: I would assume it is similar to Jann Lee's 4H+K on CH. If that is the case then this move will only be used in certain set-ups now. RIP

I don't know about Jann Lee but P+K now causes a faint, that's why it's no longer +1.

The problem is that since the move is so slow that I'm not going to be throwing it out there fishing for a CH. If it was faster I would not mind the change. Unnecessary change IMO

Also the damage buffs to 9KK and PPKK are insignificant since its a bad string

Yeah. I've never used 9KK / PPKK aside from input errors.

I don't think the nerf to 3K on NH is going to make a huge difference.

Unless P+K's properties on hit in stun change, it'll either be a move you can only use on a read, or another useless move.

The move is so slow, that a good player that tries to slow escape rather than holding randomly will simply end up punishing the move. Consider that it's slower than a burst and... Well... It's gonna go unused by me.

That depends on how long the stun is, and whether or not you've baited them to hold something else. I think it'd work after 6PP if they try holding the followup crumple stun P, and it should also work after her lift stuns (9P, 33P / SSP).

2p then p+k again try that
lol, no thank you

I won't be able to play until tomorrow so until then i can't say.

any of her mid launchers hit?
They're all too slow, ostensibly. I feel like I've tried everything :/

From what I've heard (don't have the game yet), you're probably going to be rarely throwing out this move. However, I believe I heard that it can warrant a heichu mixup since it's +11?
6P is more than +11 with SE on fastest, so you can get some mixup from it, but she just has better ways to put the opponent in similar stun level imho. It will faint stun the opponent if it lands in stun or on CH, so it could have been a seriously good move had it guaranteed 46P or 9P. She never really needed a faint stun, I wouldn't say, so it not being a good faint stun is kind of fitting.

I'm gonna say this move is relatively useless unless I or someone else can find a better followup from P+K.

I got my update..... and well SHIT. Why'd they have to change this move! T________________________T

As @Heikou stated above, it seems 6P is the only move that can been used to follow up the faint stun.
I also was not able to find any other way to get a hit.

However, the faint stun can lead into force tech set-ups. i.e 3K4K, 2H+KK, etc... (I would've rather had guaranteed damage after the faint stun)

Since I have a European Xbox Live account and only have an Xbox 360 I can't play the game yet >_< But this sounds annoying... Has no move really worked? Just to make sure, have you really tried all of the following?

33P
33P+K
6KP
8P (I would expect this to hit >_< )
K
9K
2P+K
H+K (maybe guaranteed BT setup? Just guessing lol)
46P
236P
Heichu throw 2P
1P
7P
9PP
236P+K
4PPP
1K

NONE T-T..
I have tried all those options listed and others but to no avail.

-High strikes will not work because of the faint stun animation. It causes the opponent to fall backwards that any highs will whiff. (i.e PP )

-Low strikes will not work because she does not has any moves fast enough to catch the opponent before they hit the ground.

-As for mids, 6P is her fastest mid at i12. Coming after that is 66P at i14 and 3P,3K,6K which are all i15 and these do not hit.

That leaves 6P as the ONLY option which does not lead into any guaranteed damage and only mix-ups in the stun game.

The only good thing I can take away from the move is that it does lead into force tech set-ups, but overall this move has become garbage.

Indeed. Just got the game. Nothing. Only things that hit are 6P and 2P. 2P is i13. So I guess that's the fastest thing that can hit. Must be an oversight by team ninja.
