My DOA 3.1 recently broke. So upsetting. After all these years I'm still amazed by the graphics. Seriously, holy shit. Pop this sucker in right now. The stages look better than DOA5, although to be fair 5's limited by not one but two consoles.
Ebay or Amazon is your best bet.Man I had wish I had Doa3.1 I heard so many amazing things about it and since Doa3 is the best in the series IMO makes me upset about it not 2 be sold in the U.S. Im more upset because 3.1 will only work on a japanese xbox and mines stop reading disces
well, aleast DOA5 will have the right tools just like Doa3.1 but better
-Lmao, I remember that. We had a little inside joke while playing 3.1.I remember back when we were doing a DOA3.1 tourney in VA (VTYME2 I think). We were on a 27" CRT with T5 to our right and left on HD.
The game that released in 2002 looked better on a CRT than the game that was an arcade port and took 1 minute to pre-install on a PS2 and ran on an HDTV.
Did anyone played the E3 or the august version of DOA5? If u did, how is the movement? Is it fluid? Does the
controls respon very well? Or does it feel a bit stiff & slow? I must know.
Am I the only one who thinks that DOA3 is the least pretty of all the DOAs?(Minus DOA1s and DOA2 DC/Arcade, of course!) It could just be I don't like the over-glossy look that everyone has.
Well, actually, I'll be completely honest. I still think DOA2 for the Dreamcast looks better than DOA3. I don't know what it is about DOA3's style, but something about it just turns me away. All the others look superb, in my eyes. There's really no real way for me to explain. So you're saying that it's the least pretty of ALL of the DOAs, except for the ones that came after it (2 games out of 12)?
That's like saying "I'm the shortest guy in the world, except for the other 5.8 billion people who are shorter than me."

Even the characters are markedly improved. Nostalgia is powerful.
Yeah I've been playing it for the past days since I've pretty much abandoned 4 currently. I'm very pleased with how the game looks running on the 360.
