The CPU seems quite steep O_O I also find it a bit strange that they would include only Intel & nVidia recommendations while all relevant consoles use AMD hardware.

I thought Intel offered more power but at a stupid markup while AMD offers just as viable power at a much more reasonable price point?

We do have to keep in mind that the list for requirements are the systems that TN tested with, not what the game will actually need. Just because the recommended spec is X or Y CPU/GPU/RAM, doesn't mean that your PC can't run it. You'll have to run your PC to find out what graphic settings work best for you. I called Manny earlier today, and he said the same thing when I was concerned. For those who feel worried right now, just hang in there :)

It's still quite the difference compared to DOA5 on steam. Based on these specs I really do wonder whether my FX8320 will be able to run it smoothly...

Thank god I just ordered a Ryzen system.

It's DX11 so I would assume W10 is not really required... But obviously it's not guaranteed to work on earlier Windows Versions either.

To buy or not to buy 4K monitor just for DOA6(and SC6 I guess) :/

I have a 240hz 1080p monitor that I use for literally anything else.

That recommended CPU is like 2nd best available right now on the market for consumer PCs o_O steep indeed

Yeah... If the game really is THAT cpu heavy, I don't think it's programmed in a balanced manner. I doubt it's truly required though, because the console CPUs are quite weak. Although the demo performance was atrocious on my Xbox One...
The CPU and GPU power are also quite unbalanced. An i7 8700 definitely is not required to power a GTX 1060

I thought the PC was the lead development platform this time? It's quite worrying if such an obvious bug is still present...

Do developers even do basic quality checks nowadays?

Memory leaks are hard to fix and are pretty common.
hmm, the article does say nothing about any memory leaks ?

The mentioned problem of constant 100% cpu load is a totally different issue, and is something that definitely should have been caught during testing. Especially since KT had that problem in other titles before.

That's what I don't get sometimes... Why would they put W10 as recommended, potentially leaving out W7/8/8.1 users, while they need as big an audience as they can get?

Because both 7 and 8 are at end of life and they coded with 10 in mind. They recommend 10 because that is what they coded it for thus they can't guarantee how well it will run on an end of life OS.
