DOA6 Version 1.12 & Patch Notes Released

Team NINJA released version 1.12 for Dead or Alive 6 on all platforms yesterday and followed up their update today with official patch notes listed at their website. Version 1.12 fixes various bugs and makes adjustments to the balance of the game that can be discussed over at the DOA6 system & character boards here at Free Step Dodge. Team NINJA improves the quality of the game with additional fixes that don't directly impact gameplay, and also begin their 'Revival' DLC series with bunny costumes for the female characters.

Dead or Alive 6 World Championship competitors are strongly encouraged to check out the patch notes Tuesday as East Coast Throw-Down will be the first offline major to operate on Version 1.12 this weekend. Making minor adjustments to your game before a tournament is extremely important when fighting some of the best players the world has to offer. There is no doubt that playing the game is what will ultimately improve your abilities, but when you factor all the ways you can study, it is recommended you peruse and contribute to the character boards for studious references.

Team NINJA has also made some modifications to how you will use menus in the game. For instance, you now have the option to select character costumes during ranked character selection. They also add product icons in the purchase dialogue when buying something from the wardrobe, and even include input icons for those being trained in text-chat. Main menu adjustments include: links to the various platform shops, menu refresh, and a additional results display toggle.

Text Chat will be a little bit more helpful now, but does it display all of these inputs?

Online Warriors will be delighted or horrified to discover that Team NINJA has added a 'Recent Disconnection Rate' display to ranked matches that will be visible between both you and your opponent. So disconnecting doesn't do you any favors, and eventually it will catch-up with you and nobody will want to fight you if you disconnect too many times.

Hopefully the community can enjoy the latest update as we wait for big game changers like the DOA6WC main event, Dead or Alive Festival and Season Pass 3 approach. If you find anything new to DOA6 or any stealth changes be sure to report them here at Free Step Dodge first! Patch notes will be posted upon Team NINJA's official release. The 'Sexy Bunny' outfits are now available for purchase (19.99) as a set of 16.

I've noticed a few changes.

*You can now do high damage danger zone combos on Road Rage stage

*Momiji's KP stun from back turn has change

*they added Playstation Store on the main menu

*Oooh shit! PS4 is now.....wait......it still runs like hot shit.....damn it TN!
Nice finds. Can you go in-depth with Momiji's KP stun? I'm not at the game currently. Find anything else for her and that would be awesome.

Before when she did it, it caused a knock down fall stun she couldn't use at all which was good for getting away but now she can combo from it and both hits are guaranteed against a BTed opponent. I didn't notice anything else but her heavy force techs were removed as well

Sexy Bunny Pack is 19.99! Yowie Wowie! I think the price is a little crazy. These feel like outfits that could have easily been licensed from your DOA5 accounts instead... so if you purchased them once before you get them for free in DOA6 with the exception of NiCO, but no.. There are two more revival packs planned and if you combine prices the three packs will be the value of a full-priced game. >_<

Indeed. I just used any spare premium tickets I had lying around to purchase a couple costumes that looked slick. I generally stay away from buying complete packs (don't even get me started on season passes...) unless I like more than 2/3 of them. Real talk, TN needs to offer better deals on the DLC sets. The individual purchase DLC prices are "ok" for the most part.

Is it just me or does DOA6 input delay feels.....different? Seriously, I was playing around on stages that are notorious for killing the framerate and realize it doesn't slow down anymore (even the break blows runs smoother at 60fps). Not to mention Jann Lee's P2P is easier to pull off and his movement is much faster.

This is weird because right when download the patch I was complaining about the game feeling stiff and having inconsistent framerate but now all of sudden the problems are gone!

I didn't play this patch that much but I would say it's the same. The best way to test it is playing with Phase 4 but if that would be the case I'm sure they would say it in the patch notes at least.
