I guess that's true I do look into the games I play before they come out a lot more than back then.

The stages are not so big that they hide a lot of secrets, or ever really did. Back when we were kids, yea... it was easy to be ill-informed. As an adult, that's not really a thing anymore. They'd have to make the stages several times larger each for that to be a thing again.
