DOA5LR: Directional Guard Vs Button Guard "WHAT"S THE DIFFERENCE?!"

That's a good point you made about being able to buffer in moves while holding the block button. Gives you some extra frames/time to be in a blocking state just in case someone tries to bop ya around that time.
@Fiend and Gill,
Yea fer sure. It just must have been something they didn't remove from the tutorial cause it's still there, hahah. I was just in there practicing slow escapes/stagger recovery when I saw that as a tip. Shame they took that out cause pushing buttons while spinning to recover faster would've probably helped me a lot, lol. I can do it on a pad like it aint shite. On a stick is different though.. Sorry to derail your vid with SE talk. I'll post something on topic.
Dont use attacks while Slow Escaping cuz it doesn't help anymore since in Ultimate they took it out cuz people were using Turbo in DOA5 Vanilla
Hold block first then spam 360 on the direction input. Its easier imo
Yea I noticed the 'attacking while holding the block button' the other day when I was doing the tutorial for stagger escaping. The game said to hold block while pushing P and K so attacks won't come out. But that doesn't work at all, hahah. Attacks and moves come out regardless.
