Gameplay - Yes. It's solid. I do miss DOA5/U's Launchers and Blows though. Graphics - Yes. Characters look like dolls at times, but it's nothing really bad. Textures on clothing are incredibly well done. Sound and Music - Yes. "The Muscle" is a cracker. Replay Value - Not really, sadly...

Shimbori and Team Ninja are trying to please everyone. One one hand, they have to keep their anti-PC Japanese fans happy, and on the other have to avoid mass media panning in the West. I can give their PR talk a pass.

Really disappointing news. I was honestly expecting NG4 to be one of the "unannounced" games they mentioned a wee while ago.

I get the feeling that the series has been written-off by the gaming media after NG3 and Yaiba got poor reviews. Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask...

I've read that it's supposedly a Playstation exclusive, I hope it stays multiplatform. That's my one big hope. It'd be great to play as all the ninjas though, even Jo, maybe have a multiplayer mode similar to Tomb Raider's with every character. Also add the original trilogy as unlockable easter...

Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast, was blown away by the graphics, and the soundtrack was amazing as well. It felt better than any other fighting game I'd played. I was pretty young too, so never really got far, but it was a start.
