I can't get the last K from PP2KKKK to hit after starting the combos you have listed. I have the cpu on Recovery, so it can tech on its own, and the last K always whiffs. It works only when the cpu (or opponent) doesn't tech (Recovery is Off). Is this what's supposed to happen? or is my timing...

I'm better with Bass than I am with any other character. Zack is usually my secondary though. I've been messing around with Hayate, Hitomi, Lisa, Christie, Tina and Bayman. I'm leaning towards Bayman since I love throws so much. Not really excited about any of the other characters.

a billion times yes. Leon has always been my favorite. When I found out he wasn't going to be in DOA5 I started learning Bass (not a big Bayman fan, despite his upgrades). I'm pretty happy with the switch, but I'd drop Bass for Leon instantly.

I don't have any VF or extra characters unlocked. I'm still loving every second of this game.
