Will Eliot Have a Shift in Fighting Style

At the end of the Eliot section of the story in DOA5, Gen-Fu offers to teach his prodigy a new fighting style, Xinyi Liuhe Guan.

Do you believe we will see Eliot's fighting style shift from Xingyi Quan to Xinyi Liuhe Guan in DOA6.
Will there be an option to shift between them? Will it be a mix of the two?
OR do you think TN will scrap the idea?

I don't think so, I feel like Eliot will play the same way and maybe have a couple of Gen Fu's attacks but I feel like he'll be the same. Plus DOA6 takes place within a couple months or less of DOA5(I read an article where in an interview I believe they said the game wasn't right after DOA5 but its still within that time span) and I doubt Eliot would be able to shift his full style in that period of time xD

The most I feel they'll do to Eliot is rework his style the way they did Helena since I remember on that stream Hoodless and a couple other players said Helena doesn't play the same hence why you barely saw many people use her since her style is not the same. Whatever they do, hopefully it'll make him a more viable character in DOA6

Eliot will more than likely keep his existing fighting style but have new moves taken from his master. The ending of his story chapter in 5 was meant to show his growth as a fighter with Gen-fu saying he is a worthy apprentice/student.

I don't think KT dare to delete genfu ,so nah they won't change eliot's fighting style
but,I really curious about how KT deal with his story tho

I think it could also depend if Genfu makes it to 6 or not... I mean we wonder each installment after all. If he stays I think he will play more of the same, but if he goes I think he would adapt a big new chunk of the remnant .

He doesn't need a shift, his playstyle is fine. At best they might give him a few more of Gen Fu's moves but nothing over the top or game changing. Always trying to ruin my characters lol.

I just can't see them removing anyone from the original game
he may not have plot relevance but as a character I could easily see him returning

I'm gonna bump this thread bc we're gonna get a trailer soon, and from the Famitsu scans it looks like Eliot has Gen Fu's 16P. I have a feeling we'll get no Gen Fu in the roster, but Eliot will have a good mix of his moves.

Looks like all the Genfu moves he got will be attached to a mini stance.
