That's what happens when you tell you're fans to be hyped for a tournament and there will be a big announcement then after the tournament tell them you're no longer supporting the game. Tom Lee's fake tears were too good.
Not really surprising.. SRK is way older than FSD. SRK has been around for almost 20 years. SF/Capcom is the main fanbase and people are sick of Capcom's shit, so only natural...
@Radiance "Tom Lee's fake tears were too good." Are you serious? Tom was extremely invested into this community. He was a part of the family that has grown from the game, and was upset not only from the special tribute for NinjaCW, but the fact that he wasn't going to see most of the community for a long time due to the end of DOA5/Battle Royale.
Eh, the forum is fine now considering the state of the game and community. Like Radiance pointed out, hyping up that you're announcing that you're not supporting the game anymore doesn't inspire much confidence for the gaming community.
With that said, don't knock Tom Lee's reaction to the end-support announcement. Some people that were at NEC18 said that Tom was genuine, and he has been nothing short of utterly fantastic for the DOA community during DOA5's lifespan.
Until Team Ninja is ready to reveal DOA6, I'm fine in the mean time with playing Tekken 7, then eventually SC6! =)
Don't like? Eh, more like indifferent towards the whole situation. Doa6 gets announced; Cool. Doa6 doesnt get announced; Cool and oh well. Always something else to play.
