I wish DOA was also more popular in here, it could have caught my attention earlier. The only reason why I've known about DOA because some of my friends on YouTube uploaded videos of it, but not often because they're just people who play random games with no loyalty.

I remember about a year ago, I said "Maybe Dead or Alive will be my next fighting game because Tekken 7 doesn't look so interesting to my taste. And Soul Calibur is a relic now." and it seems like it did, and it wasn't planned at all.

There's no need to be shamed if you start to play DOA since TN announced there're no longer to service their current work 'cuz you heard the reason why.

Yeah I wish I got it in to DoA during 5 Vanilla's Release.

But we are where we are... lets make the most of it.

This adage still applies: 'Better late than never'.

And to be fair, DOA isn't "dead", Team Ninja just decided to halt support of DOA5LR at the end of 2017. They will develop DOA6 when they're ready and have much fewer projects on their plate (for instance they just released Dissidia NT back in January).

Why do you keep saying DOA is dead ? the game isn’t dead. The only thing they did was stop the monthly DLC and NEC that’s once a year, that’s it. The game isn’t dead as long as people play it.

I don't think it's dead either, it's just how majority of the community is acting like nowadays. They're becoming inactive and uninterested in the game.

I don't think I kept saying that, I think it was just once. But you know what, I'd rather play an old but beautiful game than a new but unattractive game. So many games came out last year but only a few of them looked good, and some became a wreck.

To an extent yeah. IMHO, DOA5LR on PS4 still looks better than most FG's on the market. It's also currently only 1 of 2 3D fighters on the market too.

well 4 after this year, since well have Soul Calibur 6 and Virtua Fighter 5 via Yakuza 6.

@OP it's not really a bad thing though, until DOA5 I was ALWAYS late to the party lol I never even played DOA3 until 2011

Me here, I started playing DOA4 12 years after the game's release, haha! I only played it for 2 months because I just wanted to try it out. I became moderately good at it after a week of playing because it seems really engaging to get into. And then I bought DOA5 because I decided to take it seriously and competitively because I get really picky in buying games.
