However, out of curiosity, why do Tekken fans commonly act like someone's never played Tekken before if they don't like the mechanics; but act like you can blaze through DOA by just mashing holds or one button? Couldn't the DOA player state that the Tekken player has probably never played DOA before and is going by low level gameplay or pre-conceived perceptions?

All I know is the Tekken fans can keep their game. I am not into many other 3D fighters. Soul Calibur is great though.

Yeah, fair enough guys. I do find that Tekken fans tend to have a bit of a superiority complex with regards to their game of choice more so than even SF players. The thing I hate is when they clearly haven't given SC, DOA or VF a chance and act like Tekken is the only 3D that matters.

It's not elitism more than it is DOA players defending themselves from ignorant Tekken players that have regularly attacked our game for years.
The amount of fail in here is almost enough to lose faith in humanity. But entering GameFAQs is akin to ramming my body through a barbed wire tunnel.
