Yes I love it already! Just watched the first five episodes in a row lol, I wasnt expecting that much action early on xd
To be frank the opening was what got me interested into watching it, lately I was bored so just decided to give this a shot man shoulda done that way earlier
ok jk i am pretty confused now, im at the part where Gai comes back after Shu was the leader of the school for a while and the girl named Arise starts a rebellion? Like how did Gai come outta nowhere and why is Inori suddenly a monster, hope this gets cleared up soon since theres 4 episodes left before the end
I haven't watched Guilty Crown in years, but as far as I remember, Gai was revived because there was some point that he kinda died. Arisa had feelings for Gai, so I guess she was biased against Shu because Gai was supposed to be the original user of "Power of the Kings" and not Shu.
Inori is a monster because she's originally a vessel of a girl who is capable of destroying the world with the Apocalypse Virus.
So Inori is basically Mana, Shu's sister who caused Lost Christmas? That makes sense actually. But tbh the 2nd half of this anime is less enjoyable for me than the first half. The cliches like Hare's death leading to Shu having a mental breakdown, Gai getting deus-ex machina'd back to life (which imo ruined his character)
And Shu's mother apparently betrayed him by sending the AntiBodies to the Tokyo Tower? Idk man, its kind of like the anime is throwing everything at once to me lol. Regardless still enjoying it, first anime that I almost finished in 2 days
Yess after Shu beat up Souta i was like: "oh god please dont let him go through the edge phase
I havent gotten to that part yet, will finish the series tonight tho just hoping that the funeral parlor members get some screentime lol i quite liked them especially Tsugumi and Ayasa
