Just because tekken is more known doesn’t mean people can’t have a negative opinion about tekken.

Exactly @King Anubis and Bankotsubo came before Eliza! Like I have said before, DOA had less entrants and NEC and still got more views than a brand new game... if you want to call Tekken 6 a new game and a not repeat of trash it's always been.

Tekken is more successful tho, I think you personally have a vendetta with it for low-key reasons, probably because it's a more known rival to DOA. And more views doesnt mean anything tbh, there's people who watch DOA to basically insult and downplay it like you do Tekken. @King Anubis I never said that tho so that reply is invalid.

I'm not being serious, you would know if I was. The hatred of Tekken defines part of section of my brain.

The best way to settle this debate is to introduce Tekken characters in DOA as well as vice-versa (Ryu Hayabusa). I want to trigger both sides of the community because working together is 100x better than the endless trash squabble that is Tekken vs DOA community. That shit has got to go.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. Mr. Wizard is a puke, and he doesn't want DOA at EVO ever because of what happened with 4. DOA is not a good fit for Tekken characters. Especially if it meant clunking DOA's fluid animation.

I don't think DOAN likes tekken much tbh XD he sounds like he tried the game once and it wasn't for him since I noticed when someone doesn't like the way a game plays they usually point out clunkiness.

You could make a 3D Fighter EVO without Mr. Wiz. Berzerk has been pushing it to make it happen by hosting an event similar to EVO, but apparently just about every 3D fighter community suffers from being the lone community wolf. If you want the series to evolve you have to work together. If you don't, then none of us will go anywhere and we will forever be outshined by 2D fighters.

Don't see how it's not possible to make Tekken characters fit in DOA. They wouldn't be directly ported if people automatically assume that. Characters will have to use the mechanics and convert some throws into holds. It's still using a 3D format. TN could make them fluid, it's how business goes.

Did you know that Harada also respects DOA? it was all a scheme by Itagaki. A trick to push his own sells. Harada even tried DOA5 at a hotel room according to Frosty during Tekken tour and he said it was fun.

Feels great to know that Itagaki is no longer on board to witness this. Maybe it's about that time where communities should work together now. (sounds like never).

If I remember too, Tom Lee respects Tekken and wants all 3D fighters to succeed. DB is right, Itagaki fueled the Tekken vs. DOA hate the most to try and create a rivalry, but yeah with him gone, there isn't any real rivalry now. Lot's of DOA players play T7 and Tekken players have tried DOA5LR before, especially during the awkward transition phase from TTT2 to T7.

Am personally looking forward to SC6 too.
