Well, it's early enough in development that it's possible for them to change things based on feedback. If there's consistent and overwhelming criticism of a certain element (for example, some of the new "break" mechanics), they may modify it.
I mean, when the first Nioh demo came out, I and many others criticized the hell out of it. Team Ninja heard that feedback, modified the game accordingly, and low-and-behold it's now among the best games ever published.
I mean the kind of people who condemn the DOA series as a whole just because it's a game "that is nothing but tits and takes no skill to play" as they always say.
