I always liked to go back to Windows 7 because I barely experienced problems with that OS, but it seems like it's no longer supported. Most of the new stuff nowadays are only for Windows 10.
You're fortunate to be one of the minority who never faced the problems of the OS while I've seen a lot of stories about their problems with the OS which I can relate to.
Guarantee its not windows. I manage 100's of computers at work and most of them are on windows 10. They all run fine with zero issues. Win10 is very stable.
