Taka has no hard moves.

Yeah I heard the same thing.... that plus his incredible resistance to Juggles makes him a popular pick.

I haven't tried Taka yet. I've only played 3/4 of the roster, so I'm still missing some. I could never get interested in the character too because fatso characters aren't my thing xD His Tekken counterpart, Ganryu, is also one of the characters I never cared about.

I just finished command training with Taka. He's a bit harder than I thought. He has several moves with circular inputs and about 1 move that requires timing (not very strict though). I find Eileen, Brad Burns, and Jacky a bit easier than him.

Jacky, Eileen & Brad are all harder than Taka. Taka's one of the easiest characters to play. Every character has a hit throw of some sort that requires timing, though it doesn't necessarily define their gameplay. Execution-wise, simply playing a character isn't hard in VF. It's navigating the game's mechanics, whilst being able to utilize a character's moveset properly.

Apart from stuff like Akira's JF-moves, Jean Kujo's GBoD & SPoD, Jacky's FSK, Sarah JF FLA~P2KKK, etc. the techniques in VF aren't particularly difficult. There's just a lot of techniques to remember. Wall combos can be pretty daunting however.
