Forgot to mention... while both my GPU and Monitor are HMDMI 1.0 I'm actually using an HDMI 2.0 Cable.

Ironically enough I don't think this has any effect on the lag... HDMI 2.0 Cables only have better Bandwidth... I'm pretty sure the lag is still the same.

Still though... you never know when you might need more Bandwidth.

The cable won't increase or decrease input delay as you found. The delay happens with the processing of the monitor. Using an HDMI 1.x cable will only really start causing you problems when you want to render 4K resolutions or higher at higher than 30hz. How much did you pay for the monitor if you don't mind me asking?

Also, are you sure the 6ms is input delay? or response time? Because Response Time is not Input Delay. Also, 6ms is less than a third of a frame. You should only really be feeling delay if delay is greater than 20ms.

R2000... uhm... I'm not entirely certain what that is in US Currency but heres the monitor in question

The delay in question might not be coming from The Monitor... so far I've only test driven it with SFV. And it only felt laggy in 3 instances but responsive in 20 other intances.

I'l known for sure when I bust out a few FSK's with Jacky on DoA.

Also the monitor has a setting to adjust the response time... normal and fast... I turn it on when I'm gaming and off when I'm watching stuff.

It looks like you have a typical monitor. I wouldn't expect that monitor to have an input delay. SFV btw has variable input delay even offline. So you can be practicing combos and randomly miss them later. On the PC it has a 6 frame delay inherently. DOA has a 0 frame delay on PC but its animation system does a 1 frame delay for input reading to confirm which string you're attempting.
