VF5FS allows you to bind a single input to multiple buttons. I have two guard buttons in both DOA5LR & VF5FS. But yes, DOA does do a lot of stuff right that some other fighting games don't such as putting in-game frame data, prolific move details, detailed move lists that can be displayed during a match even, command training/combo challenges, etc. etc.
