Leon is a pretty simple character who basically didn't play the stun game much. With stagger escape gone, his already strong neutral game would be much stronger in 6 given he kept most of his stuff in 5. If he ever comes back for 6 no one knows how much he would change though.
all his 2in1s,OHs, NH launchers into directional air grab using the environment better than anyone else, multiple +frame guard breaks, multiple chargeable strings/attacks including P+K which even without CB gave him a launcher into air grab. 33p would most likely be a fatal stun since in 5 it guaranteed an unstaggerable stun follow up that required guessing a hold on top of having some of the most damaging grabs
And like Bayman, TN will likely make those guard breaks negative for Leon. He'll probably lose most of his 2-n-1's and the meter just ruins any sit down situation thanks to the crappy break hold mechanic.
@Onryoki In 5, Leon could only get his air throw off on certain weight classes from certain launchers at specific threshold levels. For example, 9K could only lead into an air grab on midweights at Crit. level 3 (same applied to 4PK, I believe). The change to launch heights in 6 normalizes that, so either 9K becomes incredibly weak or incredibly strong,
depending on whether they intend it to combo into the air toss. Environmental combos are generally bonkers in 6 (bad stage design), and 5U Leon was obviously the king of bonkers environment combos.
TL;DR: Potentially, easy access to lots of air combos into lots of stuff for big boi damage.
@Raansu Must be a lot more explosive barrels and four-point directed aerial throws in 3.1 than I remember.
