She is an African-descent. bro, look at the women of Ethiopia and Somalia and you can see La Mariposa looks like many women from those countries, the symmetry of her face clearly show that. btw I'm glad to see, Diego is the first Native American in Dead Or Alive Franchise

Shes half black, half Hispanic. Periodt. She looks black to me; the only reason I said half Hispanic is because of the whole “La Mariposa” thing. I’m down with the straight hair being her natural texture cause of that, too

We need a new black female character that’s less... racially ambiguous. Not just in DOA but fighters in general.

She's dark but I don't see any black in her, only latina but I suppose you can think it if you feel it's that. I know for me in a documentary I've watched apparently ninjas have some black in them so Kasumi has a bit of hood in her which I'm perfectly fine with <3
